I went to the tip today and picked up a David Sheperd large framed print, a very damaged/restored poole pottery vase (will look nice with my others), a poole pottery tea pot and a damaged Royal Daulton Bull dog (which i may try and restore) and for the lot i payed 2 pounds. I want to keep the print to go on my wall but dh thinks it mite be worth something (i will be putting it on my wall as soon as he goes to work).

Our local tip won't sell anything to the public despite, very obviously, putting goods to one side. I often wonder where they all end up

  • Just discovered theres a saturday boot sale near me,supposed to start at 10 and last till 2.I fancied a look to see if it was worth selling at it next weekend. We slept in and didnt get there till 11.30,3 cars remaining so we just drove past and came home again.Do most people leave really early or stay until the advertised end time?

Hopefully the rain will hold off and I can manage to to do my 2 regular sunday ones tomorrow. Need my car boot fix.
