My OH loves it, he even comes with me but gets bored after a couple of hours. He likes vintage too and we've found some lovely things for him in the past

Must admit that mine's like that, too. Trouble is my passion for retro furniture, mad fabric and 1950's framed prints. Clothes and shoes you can stuff in the wardrobe, Lloyd Loom chests, 1930's dressing tables and 3ft square art prints ain't so easy! :o

Hmm, not sure I would get away with all that :). He's getting used to my love of old everything so by the time we get our house he knows most of the contents will come second hand
Not been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/155

Hope that doesn't include him! :rotfl:

It's only been raining here for the last 40 minutes so managed a quick charity shop dash earlier:

Typhoon retro chrome kitchen scales (new in box) £5
Vintage "Beyond Retro" psychedellic mini skirt £2
New Bay Trading "Woodstock" strapless maxi dress £4
A large brown Gap felt floppy hippy hat £1

Don't think they'll be many boot sales on tomorrow if it continues like this.

Vintage 1930's paisley printed quilted eiderdown (really pretty and shabby chic)

    Tan leather biker boots
Vintage suitcase with Union jack flag inside
    Paul Smith shorts
    6 vintage 80's dresses
1970's big collared blouse with mouse print...groovy, baby!
Fab 1960's tweed coat in purple and mustard with huge enamel buttons (fits perfectly)
    Tootal scarf
    Vintage silk tie-it-yourself bow-tie
    Vintage Wrangler western shirt
    3 TopShop smocks
New pair of Clarks' flatties in cream leather (mum'll love 'em)
    River Island guy's linen suit
Trendy guy's shirts (Quiksilver, Full Circle,River Island)
    Vintage Hepworths sheepskin coat
    3 vintage pinnys
    Leather belts and vintage braces
    Vintage tent in canvas holdall

No boot sales for me today as its raining but i went to our local tip to get rid of some clutter and found a Tummy Tub (baby bath), payed 20p for it, i should get around 8-10 pound on e-bay, the staff at the tip thought it was a bucket.

Lets hope the sun comes out tomorrow.

Raining? It's gorgeous here. I expect the heavens will open later the minute I step outside the front door with my going-out gear on!

Just put the tent up...in fab condition, green canvas with leather covered inflatable supports made by the "Pneumatic Tent Company" of Dorking, Surrey. Can't find anything out about it by Googling it...any ideas, please .

    Other finds today were:
Vintage ladies corset (one for the eBay pervs, I expect...they always request I wrap it in discrete packaging and put in a box so their work colleagues can't guess the contents!)
Indian leather slippers with Ali Baba-style turned up toes
    1950's ladies tartan capri pants
    Mng cardi
Primark tweed 1940's style tailored jacket
1980's batwing teeshirt with a glittery pin-up girl image
    Wallis Snake print shift dress
    River Island parka
    2 Nepalese hippy dresses
Abercrombie and Fitch hoodie with tags still attached
    Bench guy's teeshirt
    2 pairs Quiksilver swim shorts

And just in case you lot start nagging me....yes, I've hung the eBay finds up and put the grubby ones in the wash. The scarves have all been ironed and the other accessories boxed and put away nicely! No clutter left in the lounge.....promise!:D

Oh yes...forgot to add - spent £22! Bargaintastic!

Wow you bought so much, what's your game plan when you go to a jumble sale? I find it really hard to choose which stall to go to first, if I go to the clothes then everyone else is snapping up the bric a brac, or the books...and that's if I can get near the stalls, the last one a couple of months ago I just couldn't elbow my way near the ladies clothes, people were getting irate with each other 'cos there just wasn't space to move!
