There's no clique here, in fact I'd say proliant and I rarely see eye to eye
well i am thinking you would have used the return off your gambling to pay it off within the year and have some profit left over, just wondering if you had any contingency in place as ideally you should have been preparing from day one, before you even received your first bill.Kavanne

Good going 'champ'!
Know what i was gonna answer that, but i'm just gonna sit back, shake my head and laugh....0 -
I have a job Kavanne. I used £5,000 odd, not £50,000 odd - its not an amazingly large sum that will ruin me.
Besides, nornamark - if my credit file is trashed as you say, that will be for 6 years at worse, paying the minimum each month on a CC would take alot longer than 6 years to pay it all off - and I would have paid a ridiculous amount over the top too.
I am happy with the outcome. i am only scored badly in the UK for credit - and thats if they refuse to remove the default on the account.
I will liase further with them nonentheless. but ultimaely it makes no difference to you, so dont worry about it.0 -
I can't see them not removing it Cash. As you said THEY closed the account. They wouldn't close it if they wern't at fault so therefore they can't really have a reason to keep it on.0

Toon-dude, I used to think that too - but the fact is that had the benefits been explained correctly - I would not have taken up the offer and used the card. Hence, I would not have HAD the debt to start with.
The fact it, like all these agreements, its not about the product (money) its about the contract. The product is sold under the terms of the contract. if the contract is wrong, then its wrong.
Im sure the big bad Banks are able to get it right. So why do they try to take money from us on a contract that they know is wrong?
If I had a bet with a mate, and shook on it, then I would honour it - unless he cheated to win the bet, then I wouldn;t.
SAME THING.
Reading your OP and further replies your user name really does suite you. Especially the PIG bit.:rotfl:0 -
i believe they have separate databases for each country. I do not they they have a single database the world over.Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? Damn, I've been suckered into posting. Please note that I'm not trying to join the handbag fight, but I did find it somewhat ironic to see you, of all people, calling for the thread to be closed. I thought you were the guy who would say what he wanted and stick two fingers up to the mods, but it turns out you're actually a censorious snitch. I really didn't expect that from you.The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, but wiser people so full of doubts.0 -
This guy is possibly the most sub-human scum i have ever experienced on here.
I love how idiotic he is that he thinks calling it "Sport Trading" makes him not sound like a mug failed gambler.
And this bit :
"Increased interest rates? Well, if you dont wanna pay increased rates, don't agree to borrowing the money then."
How about, IF YOU DONT WANT TO PAY BACK MONEY YOU BORROWED TO GAMBLE THEN DONT AGREE TO BORROWING THE MONEY THEN
