Yes left on continuously.
The flat was build just over a year ago but the heater is newer hot to touch and the cupboard it is in does not feel warm or anything which I guess would mean it is well insulated?

Have you got any things that you use regularly like laptops, xbox 360s, mobile phone chargers?
