Well done Helnag! Keep up the good work!:T
You seem to be doing really well - don't beat yourself up about having a slight relapse. That's what the encouragement on this forum is for!0 -
Well done with all the plans, dont knock urself for having the off moment and the relaspe, weve all had them.
Your plan of action seems absolutely brilliantly, but hope you dont mind me saying, that is the £400 a month on top of the debt repayments pratical, all Im thinking of is if u dont achieve the £400 ur going to feel like its a relaspe, why not say £200 extra per month, then any extra is a bonus, if you can make £400 then brillaint.
For me my base dent repayment is £225 per month, but I'm managed over 1k in 3 months, but if Id of set myself up for 1k, and didnt achieve it, I would of been on a downer and most prob gone on a spending spree......... my old habit. xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Thanks MellyB...nice to know I'm not mostly wittering away to myself, thanks for the encoutagement, I've realised how much it helps.
Mum2one thanks also, I think you're probably right. I think I'll probably edit that to £200, I've done my sums and £400 is achievable but it depends on a lot of ifs....I guess I got carried away in my little moment of positive thinking!!! Like you say if I achieve £200 I've reached my target and if I I double it then wow...will do great for my attitude!!!
Thanks...flying post, just done a shadow shift for my new job and am exhausted...still the sooner I get started the better. Now off for a re-heated curry...yum yum.

Any spare curry......... thou have to confess just had a sugar sandwich....... xx
Glad u didnt mind me being cheeky bout the repayment, the way I look at it, in my case I could get my debt free date 6 months earlier and live a virtual existance, or have a mini life and a few extra months on the debt.... so the mini life won.

Sugar sandwich...sounds interesting, he he!!! My curry was yummy and I've still got another portion left.
So anyway, I went to the gym and I can't believe how restrained I was. I had presumed that they had some sort of gym member parking thing going on but they haven't. I pointed out to the sales lady that it would cost me another £2.50 per visit let alone the extra £3.50 for the creche. I told her it was just TOO expensive so I therefore couldn't commit. You could just tell she found this very annoying but for once I really thought about just how much something would cost and didn't do it. Would be nice but hey ho!!!
My neighbour just agreed to watch LO so went for a jog, only 10 minutes but feel better for it...Who needs posh gyms??!!

When I was younger I was a fan of sugar on toast!! Not sure why?!
Luckily all my teeth are still intact so no lasting damage done!0 -
Not sure I fancy it myself, although my Mum used to eat sugar straight from the bowl all on its own...Yuck.
