They're just trying to make more work for themselves to justify their jobs.
My days been ok, no real drama or spends. Got to go to see a mate to get my anti-virus on my laptop updated when hes home from band practice, getting a lift there and he's paying for the taxi back so all good.
My mums washing machine is officially dead now, considering buying her a new one (mostly because a don't fancy treking to the launderette all the time but incidently might accidently be getting a P/T job there) but shes spent the whole last 2hours being mardy and horrible and very vocal about it so I think i'd rather save myself the £200 and get out of here quicker.

Launderette...what a nightmare but handy if you do get a job there...every penny helps.
Speaking of anti-virus I don't know what's going on with my pc but it's gone all slow...I need a new one...oh well. Maybe next year.
Off to bed now, I'm exhausted and tomorrow's another long day although I'm working from home so no traveling at least.

Hi,
Thanks for all of your advice, especially on the holiday stuff, it's great to know we can have a good time without spending what we haven't got and I've already had a look at the local councils website and had a few ideas. Well done on planning ahead. I am sure you will have a great time.
I've spent this afternoon, sorting through my youngests old clothes, no wonder I'm skint, she's got an amazing wardrobe!!! They both have, starting to see where my money's been going now. Anyway, I've been listing it all on auctions on E-bay and when it ends on Sun day next week I'll let you all know how it gets on. Two things Ebay now don't charge if your start price is 99p or under! And have a look on the ebay site for Turbolister. It is a free programme from Ebay, that means you write your listings and then save them, and then upload them at the right time. It means if you have hours in the day, but don't think that then is a good time to upload the items, you can still do the listings, and then upload them in the evening.
Thanks again everyone, will keep you posted on my progress...To a debt free 2010!!
Good luck with your journey

Hi again,
I'm just downloading it now so wish me luck...I am a bit of a techno phobe to be honest all though from what eBay say it looks pretty straightforward. This is perfect for me cos I would like everything to end on a Sunday evening but don't always fancy sitting here for hours in the evening listing it all. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

You had washing out before 8? We're still on breakfast then even though we're up at half 6! (the monster HAS to have cereal and toast or fruit with an appropriate break inbetween so it takes a while) I have to trek to the launderette tomorrow since my mothers washing machine is officially bust which i'm so not looking forward to!

YM20 try putting a want on your local freecycle group - www.freecycle.org I got my replacement washing machine off freecycle (for nowt of course), and it was a better model than the one that had gone kaput. Likewise you could offer your mums on freecycle for the parts. You may be pleasantly surprised how quickly it goes. (some freecycle group say you have to post an offer, before you post a want hence this suggestion).
good luck

try clearing your cookies, your cache and your history. also look how much you have in your recycle bin, and empty it if it is loads. It might help with the slowness.

It has been so long since I downloaded turbolister that I can't really remember but I think you have to create a file first. And then it is all there. If you are really struggling, there is an ebay board on this site, and I am sure there are loads of people who will help you sort it out

Thanks Chev,
Have to get off the computer for now and sort kiddies out. Have to be strict today and restrict my time on here as I have so much to do but will be back later to try and sort Turbolister out. It sounds like a godsend.
