Thanks Annamarie, I subscribe to your thread and see you're doing good too.
I've been quite lucky in that it's the little things that are all adding up for me. My daughter no longer has school dinners, saving me around £7 a week, I no longer walk to Sainsburys to get me and the LO something 'nice' for lunch every day saving me probably £4 a day plus all the other rubbish I used to pick up adding up to around £15 a day. The smoking has made a big difference and has been pretty easy considering. This site has been a big incentive especially the stop smoking thread, just having somewhere to come and keep track has made a big difference.
Day 16 today for the smoking, and I can honestly say I've tried before and don't think I would have succeeded without MSE!!! (it helps seeing my capital one balance coming down so nicely too!!!).
It's all made me a bit more enthusiastic with life in general to be honest, I use my time much better too. I enjoy more free time with the kids and have learned to let my hair down and have free fun with them...we're making an Easter garden tonight for my eldests school comp. Just silly things like that have made all the difference.
Time to put LO down for a nap now so cheerio.

Oh my gosh, just noticed your CapOne, Your doing awesome! im so jealous, mines still hovering at £280 but my Dorothy Perkins card is nearly (ish) done which feels good.
You got your maternity clothes eBayed yet?? I've had a sort out today and found my stash, most of which I never wore! I was lucky and didn't show til i was past 6mths gone and he was out at 37weeks but when I got fat boy did I get fat, I put on over 2stone in about 9weeks hence the no-bikini-not-never-ever. My stomach is like an AA road map but with added wobble! Still sat here eating the rest of my Mothers Day chocs though so cant be that bothered, I say eating, more like sucking til they melt trying to avoid them touching my awfully painful tooth
You had washing out before 8? We're still on breakfast then even though we're up at half 6! (the monster HAS to have cereal and toast or fruit with an appropriate break inbetween so it takes a while) I have to trek to the launderette tomorrow since my mothers washing machine is officially bust which i'm so not looking forward to!
Oh and get little chocs, then you can have more of them! :rotfl:

Yeah, I know I'm sooo excited that this time next week it will be gone!!!! (trying hard not to order a new card 'just in case' though!!!)
I haven't got them on eBay yet, I want to make sure they're all washed and ironed first (although they were clean already just been in a bin bag for nearly 2 yrs). I know that when I've looked on eBay I've been put off by creased looking clothes. They say Sunday evening is the optimum sale end time so trying to wait til Sunday night and then gonna have a mammoth listing session lol. Feeling a bit annoyed with myself cos I used to give all of my old bubba clothes and a lot of maternity stuff to a friend who turned out to be not such a good friend in the end. Big regrets there cos I gave her a lot of the better stuff. Had a quick search on eBay though and think generally maternity stuff goes quite well so fingers crossed. :rotfl::rotfl:
I'm quite lucky in that I can leave both of mine munching toast and fruit on the sofa whilst I get on cos the bigger one looks after the LO and keeps her busy for me!!! (I sound like an awful Mum) but it just means I can let my coffee sink in whilst getting all the little morning jobs done that I can't stand doing after the school run (I hate walking into a tip).
Well done on your Dotty P card, I'm lucky in that cos I screwed up my credit rating at such a young age I was never accepted for store cards otherwise I'm sure my situation would be ten times worse :eek:
I like the choccy idea but I'd prob just eat 20 instead of 7. I'm also saving money like you cos I'm supposed to be on my pre-bikini (would never wear one) diet also.
I've done this prob every year since I had my eldest and never got slim lol although without sounding like I'm gloating I was lucky enough to escape stretch marks. I think the smoking has put paid to the weight loss idea though!!! Although my dad has said that if I stay stopped he'll pay for me to go to the gym but I can't find one with a creche at the mo so will have to keep looking.
Anyway how you getting on with the MS YM20??? And where's your sig??

Helnag - hope u dont mind me being cheeky, but a few thoughts on the ebay.
The best time I've found is to ens the sales on a sunday, I ideally go for a 10 day listing, so list on a thursday afternoon, on a 10 day listing, that way u get 2 weekends in.
Also if there not to creased, why not get them photographed now and then get them washed over the next few days, add them in with the wash load, that way ur not rushing to get them washed and can do them as and when.
Dont forget the posting goes up on 1st April, its only a few oence, but they sound mount up, I felt guilty chargeing £2.00 postage for 3 pairs of dd shorts, but the postage was £1.83.........
Can I have the chips............I'm hungary........ I've got to finish off the section of my ou book before tea, then thats a weeks work done xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
I'm considering a huge eBay spree tomorrow purely because after a day and a half i'm sick of looking at this stuff!! But I think I should maybe take some of that advice and do it so most of it ends on Sunday eve. My mother 'treated' me to most of my maternity wear as my early (and only) xmas present that year so most of it was shocking and i just coped in leggings and long tops instead which was kinda 'in' at the time anyway although I did get told off by my midwife for wearing heels alot, especially after the 'running around the doctors refusing to let her take my blood' episode, since I ended up passing out in the loo while i was trying to do a beloved pee sample (oh how i miss them lil pee-pots, not) I think i was in the right about it all. It was very stressful though, listening to the father of my child flirt outrageously with the midwife, lovely guy him! Gave me a fiver for a taxi home after since he'd gone and got his car blocked in parking somewhere stupid when he made us late, isn't that sweet after all that trauma?? That was actually the last time I saw him 'properly' and actually thinking about it i didn't see alot of her either, she was always 'on holiday'. Suspicious me thinks!
Anyway, that was a lovely off-topic rant there, I've not spent anything today and got my o2 bill, £19.something, which is a bit strange since i've got one of those 'simplicity' plans, 1month rolling contract, 600mins and unlimited texts which is £20 a month, slightly confused...
Did my sig, if it's worked, think I need a challenge to add to it, considering £10 a day one since i've got a mammouth 'to-eBay' pile...

Cool, thanks Mum2one hadn't thought of that. And no I don't think you're cheeky lol.
I appreciate your help. I'd heard it was best to end on a Sunday and I know it's good to have it as long as possible but hadn't worked out the Thursday thing!!!!
Sorry to sound silly but I'm tired will Thurs evening definately end on a Sunday!?!
YM20, listen to what Mum2one says above...she's good lol.
Will post properly tomorrow, have a drama involving my sort of brother in law stuck in America trying to get home after walking out on his marriage...can sense my debts increasing temporarily...:eek::eek:
