    No idea! :p

Just going on the OL postcode

I wish there were any cash & carry type places near me!

OL postcodes cover Oldham, Ashton(under-lyne), Rochdale, Heywood and Bacup.
That asian supermarket is in Ashton town centre, just behind a new Aldi and 100 yds from IKEA.

You should just try any asian supermarket. Just go where the locals go.

My nearest is 40++ miles away! I live in rural Somerset. :D Don't ask me how the heck I managed to meet my lovely partner - who is Nepalese but we did it LOL

If possible, I would definately visit an Asian shop and buy in bulk, ask the staff which is pure basmati and which is fusian, nothing better than a biriyani cooked with pure basmati!! Tilda is definately my fav but can't afford it!

Tesco have Rozana basmati rice reduced to £10.99 for 10kg until 09/06 - typical, I bought it on 19/05 for £14.34, a day before the price reduction icon9.gif
I'm going to get another one anyway as we go through rice like nobodies business. It is very nice and stays firm, without breaking up too much. hth

Basmati tastes better. It has a slight nuttiness to it and it doesn't stick together when you cook it. My Indian relatives will not use anything else. Basmati has also got a lower glycaemic index than normal long grain white rice.
