I've tried to add something on my account to sell this morning and have received the alert below. Is this something to do with my neg, his threats to get me 'banned' (oh yes, I've saved his emails!) or random? All before I've created a separate user ID for buying!!
Attention !
In order to ensure a safe marketplace for all, eBay will periodically review the accounts of members who are actively trading with multiple userids. While we do this, we are placing a short hold on your accounts. At this time, please contact eBay Customer Support at cbtquestions@ebay.com and provide a list of all of your eBay userids. We will review your account(s) and contact you to let you know when the hold has been lifted or if we need additional information. Thank you.Do not allow the risk of failure to stop you trying!0 -

Aha, a quick look on ebay.com (?) suggests this is a glitch:

Glad you left negative as you say its fair for whats happened, he should have set a reserve or a higher starting price if he wanted a certain amount for item.
I was bidding on item the other week, got outbid and seen seller left feedback for the buyer ' immediate payment' and a day later the seller relisted the item. Obviously it was them bidding for there own item to bump up the price. As other members have said its sellers like this that give a bad name to genuine sellers.New York ♥..........These street will make you feel brand new, Big lights will inspire you.

I would not recommend this as it identifies the OP's ID as well and that ends up with all sorts of problems. I picked up a stalker a few years back who traced me, probably through a site like this where I mentioned what I sold, caused me no end of problems with malicious bidding and negs.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. you should set up a seperate buying account
Thanks for that info, custardy, I didn't know that either.
On a separate note, I kept my eye on a table being sold on Ebay a while ago. The end date came and went and I then noticed it was being re-sold but with a minimum start price of £25. On looking at the feedback, it was obvious that the seller had refused to sell at the winning price of something like £15 as it wasn't enough. The buyer left negative feedback to this effect which was well deserved IMO.
I think the OP had good grounds for leaving negative feedback based on the fact that the seller refused to sell at a particular price not just because they didn't refund in good time. It's wouldn't have not wouldn't of, shouldn't have not shouldn't of and couldn't have not couldn't of. Geddit?0
