It was brief but fun - it was more of a 'lets meet for a chat and see how we get on' thing really. Nothing like this rude lot are trying to make out! :rotfl:Dare I ask how your date went then Snags!I'm one handed and have orange sausage fingers, but the drugs are good
Clearly!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
You're on Linda - I need something a bit more positive, because I'm not going to sit around and get depressed and dwell on stuff I can't (and no longer want to) change."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250

Hey Maz
Ohhh I need runnerly type advice - I ran 7k last Wednesday, 3.5k on Sunday, 5k on Wednesday - when shall I run again and how far?
My ankle feels a bit achey - nothing major, and I think it would ease once I started running but i don't want to give myself an injury.
I can get to the gym today, tomorrow and Sunday.
I think I need to start running outside a bit again too, but I only want to do very short distances to start with.
Anyone have any suggestions? I really really want to get to 10k asap, but without killing myself in the process!
(If it was light enough, I would just do a very short outdoor run tonight, and then 7k on the treadmill on Sunday, but by the time Stu picks the kids up this evening it will be too late and too dark.)"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
Right, something positive.......

...Linda xxIt's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0 -
