    Thanks Maz :)

You're doing brilliantly too - I'm absolutely certain the 10k will be achievable for you.

I've got 2 pairs of trainers, but neither are ideal. One pair has the gel insoles, but the trainers themselves give me blisters (as you saw! And I got another horrible one on Wednesday despite having a plaster on before I even started!). The other pair don't seem to give me blisters as quickly, but the gel insoles wont fit in them, which I think is why my ankle is a bit sore.

I'll have to see if I can get some more I think, but my budget is rather tight at the moment to say the least.

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

Thanks Sammy. I can't fit 4 runs a week in unfortunately, sometimes it's only one or two.

Basically I can go every Wednesday while Stu has the kids.

Then every other week, he has them all weekend, so I could go Fri/Sat/Sun.

So one week it might be once, one week, potentially 4 times (although the most I've ever managed is 3 ). Not ideal really.

I can fit walks in more easily because I can do them while Ryan is at school and take Natasha in the pram. I keep intending to map a 10k walk to at least get used to the distance, but haven't *quite* got around to it yet! :o

    Hi all...

Hugs for Bookie & DD xx

I'm moving next week into a council flat!! Wooohoooo, will be so much better off, going from a band c council tax to a band a and much cheaper gas/elec as has a new combi boiler. Just gotta get my !!!! into gear and get packing! I have the car half full of boxes ready to go over. Carpets are going down 2moro which weren't cheap!! But luckily I had the rent ready to pay for this place so that paid for that! Be lovely to have new carpets etc.

Just bit worried about living in a flat with DD, no garden etc but we do have the new forest 5 mins up the road and a park opposite us.

    xx

Right, my surprise is done and ready. Many apologises for missing anyone out. Nothing personal, just me being forgetful and running out of ideas.
