I wish I was with her Maz. I've a feeling her hubby will hit the deck when they start cutting. He goes all wobbly at needles.

Hey Maz - how did you get on last night? Well shock of shocks for me as I actually lost a pound! That really cheered me up and I'm feeling more positive about being able to lose weight! So I hope you did OK.

QB - technically i lost nothing this week, which is what i expected TBH... however i now think i might have lost half a pound as it was 0.25kg down... which is about half a pound innit?

Anyway will add the extra half pound onto next weeks for a bigger loss then... but mentally i know it was there IYKWIM!

Just heard. Baby has turned so they have been sent home to play the waiting game.

Exit Bookie for a good cry.

awwww bookie! that is great news really when you think about it!

    Baby knows best, eh?!

Speaking as a Csection-ee, it's so limiting that your daughter will probably be grateful that she didn't need one... even though she's probably as frustrated as hell at the moment...!!

    (((hugs for bookie)))

Maz - Half a pound sounds about right, and twinned with weight loss for next week, should make the scales look good! Well Done for what you've lost so far as well!

Oh dear Bookie, it can't be easy playing having to wait and then get geared up only to have to wait a bit longer! Everything must be OK though as they've sent her home. But let it all out and you'll soon feel better!!

Lack of men folk about again today - where are they all?! Maybe Len has gone for that run!!

Awww Bookie, at least it's good the baby has turned, less complications I'm sure. Don't worry, you'll have a grandchild soon!

Just had to ring halifax to stop them charging me for a direct debit that wasn't meant to be there, they said yes, so they keep me for a while longer. They've always been good to me but I'm ready and waiting to be bitten.

They arrived at 7am. They took blood, prepped her for surgery, put her in the gown and the anaethetist talked her through what was going to happen. THEN - at 10 to 10 - they did a scan to check the position! What planet are they on.
DD is devasted - too upset to talk to me.

That's bad, they should have done the scan first. Hopefully DD will have a cup of tea and nap and feel better. If she still feels upset she could complain about the scan not being done first.

Later, I have a surprise planned for all of you, you'll have to check back to see if I've managed to pull it off.

I think the whole system has gone to pot. When she got passed to the hospital for being breech the GP midwife stopped seeing her. Therefore she's not been having weekly BP and urine checks

she'll see that it's probably a blessing and to avoid surgery can only be a good thing... she'll be in and out in a day with no complications, as opposed to in for a week with the op....

i can imagine how frustrated you all must feel though...

and to be getting prepped up for surgery! someone somewhere will be getting their Butt kicked for that! a letter is definitely required as that is so out of order! Pre op is so stressful, no mum to be needs that!
