Dont touch it with a bargepole.......Pawpurrs x0

I would seriously have to love this house to consider neighbours like that, (having had previous experience of living next door to pond life, not half as bad as your prospective new neighbours) I would like to think my family and friends who administer an anaesthetic and ship me off to somewhere more peaceful like the Gaza.
The house might be your dream home - but it could become your prison, I reckon any outdoor space would be out of bounds to you and personally I would sooner live in a tent than live with stress and fear every day in the sure knowledge that my chances of selling up and moving are slim.
Dont give up on your search, keep looking until you find somewhere that gives you peace of mind in exchange for a few bedrooms less, grotty wall paper or a worse view of the water goodluck.0 -
There is no way I'd touch it with a bargepole.
You'd be mad to and it would be a massive waste of money.
There is a real glut of properties on the market at the moment. Keep looking - you can do better than this!"One day I realised that when you are lying in your grave, it's no good saying, "I was too shy, too frightened."
Because by then you've blown your chances. That's it."0 -
The only thing i can think of is perhaps these hooded tearaways wouldnt trouble you as you are living too close to their house and their mum? To be antisocial in such close proximity to their own back yard would be foolish.
Perhaps offer them saturday jobs tidying the garden and helping you redecorate the house? gives them a bit of cash, you get 2 know them and they give you respect. I did this when living in beautiful Stockton-on-Tees0 -

I did this when living in beautiful Stockton-on-Tees (i was a uni student - and although i couldnt afford to pay much my house and car were never touched!)
Good luck - can you speak to the other neightbours and even the EA about the sort of things the street actually experiences?0 -
If I lived there I would want to work 24hr shifts seven days a week 365 days a year! They'll be watching your house waiting for your car to go so they can break in. I wouldn't complain as they'll only make you a target. I won't even hang curtains up at the window in case your home stands out.0

Sorry to disappoint but it doesnt always work like that.
We live in what I can desribe as a bad area, and have constant harassment from the local chav squad. The main 2 culprits live in my street, 1 a few doors away across the road and the other is my next door neighbour whos house is joined to mine!
As someone who deals with these kind of people everyday and suffers for no fault of our own, I say if you can find something else then do. One reason I havent moved is because it would have to be a swap and why would I want anyone else to suffer what we have for the last 6 years? Dont do it, if you do you may regret it.Weight loss November 09-January 10: [STRIKE]13lbs[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]20lbs[/STRIKE] 27lbs! :j0 -
