I've just booked 3 rooms for an overnight stay in Carlisle on the way to Scotland over the Xmas hols, and then another 3 rooms for our return journey a week later.
The website would only give me 2 rooms at the saver rate of £10 each for the outward journey with the third room being the normal rate of £19. This was the same for the return journey. To try to get around this, I just booked the first 2 rooms there and back at the £10 rate. I then did the search again and, lo and behold, rooms were shown at £10 again!! I just booked the remaining rooms in a separate booking and it worked!! If it hadn't worked, £19 is still a good deal, but £10 is even better!
I trawled through the T&C's and nowhere does it say anywhere about there being a limit to the number of sale rooms you can purchase at one time - maybe it's to try to deter people (as I'm sure some people would just accept they can only book two!) or just a website error, who knows?!
This sort of thing is very common on the sale rooms - I find it best to book one at a time to avoid overpaying."If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools"

Got a £10 room at heathrow in feb for our flight to vietnam the next day, cheap flight thanks to mse! Only downside is the £7.50 on site parking feeLive each day like its your last because one day you'll be right0

Was looking forward to booking at these excellent prices for journey in January. Found some hotels at £10 - great - but then found I would have to pay £20 for my dog!! Quite happy to pay for her but not at that OTT price. Will cross the Channel first and go in a hotel there and pay about €2.0

I go to Belfast twice a year to visit family and normally pay £59 per room per night (breakfast extra) in Premier Inn. I've just booked three nights in April for £19 per night with breakfast £7 a day. Thanks, MSE!0

I checked out Travelodge sale and was delighted to find two nights in Scarborough for £24.
Sounded great but thought I would check out Trip Advisor. Oh dear..............
From reviews I read it seems to be a hotel from hell so I guess you only get what you pay for.
I haven't booked.0 -

You must be joking, £12 a night and you believe a load of nonsense from TA.
I had 5 nights there last Sept and couldn`t fault it.
Even had a see view.
It` s opposite the Grand Hotel and very central.0 -
I've just been to the Travelodge site and the cheapest rooms seem to be £19 if you book 21 days ahead or £29 for 7 days ahead. There's no mention of £12 rooms so how do I find them?0

I've stayed at Travelodge lots of times at between £9 and £29 a night. Mostly very good. Just had 3 nights at Peterborough Eye Green - quite good though a touch noisy during the day - at £15 a night. Clean, fresh, this one is reasonably new so deffo good value for money. Had problems at Hickstead earlier this year though, dirty and very tired. Best ones - Paignton (opened this Feb I think, we stayed in May) and Porthmadog though not the best setting, opposite a builders merchants! But very clean, friendly staff, excellent value. Do your homework, check where using Google street maps for where/traffic etc (most are near services on main roads) then make your booking! Oh, and you can book multiple nights at bargain prices, just don't check out until you've booked all the nights you want. Best to phone a few days before to check that they have realised and put you in a single room for all the days you stay, though I've never had a problem so far.0
