You would have thought some sort of explanation on the travelodge page wouldnt go amiss, but all they have done is revert back to yesterdays pricing and for now ditched the £10 sale. They must have known this was likely to happen, especially with many more staying in the UK cos they are skint. They need to sub divide their locations into most desirable, middle of the road and less desirable and have 3 different websites to cope.If you want Cornwall for example you would struggle, but the people wanting say Leicester are clogging up the same system, hence the crash.Something needs doing as this happens every time there is a sale.I wouldnt keep refreshing the page if i were you as the website has reverted to the pre-sale prices so £19 a night is the cheapest at the mo

Joke of a website cant cope at 6am yet again. You would have thought they would have sorted this by now.Everytime there is a sale the site crashes

I have just had the same problem. i wanted to book 1 night before an early flight from Gatwick in March but it will only let me select today to book. If I try to change the date, it loses the hotel selection and asks me to choose the hotel again. I do that and it defaults back to a booking for tonight.

The £10 rooms are there but for the area im looking at in the middlands you need to be looking at around april onwards..

Just booked a load of rooms for work in feb/march at £19.54 a room so they better not now go down to a tenner...

    Good luck all...
  • The sale date is from April to August so feb and march were in the last sale just after christmas,so wont come down to a tenner, but im not even seeing the £10 rooms. How can the demand be high now the £10 sale has gone offscreen and its been off for over two hours..Well done pepsimax. At least one satisfied customer.Has anyone out there got the £10 rooms available showing at all.
  • Back up and running again. One little tip for anyone who fancies the south coast but cant get the rooms.Take a look at Milton Keynes. Why? i hear you say.Because in the summer of last year Southern railways had a mega silly sale and Milton Keynes is the first station on their network.I managed to get a return to Chichester for £1.60,to Hastings for just over £2 with my son,Portsmouth for £1.60 and Brighton for the same sort of money.Im gambling on Southern railways doin something similar this summer and you will get rooms for £10 a night in the Milton Keynes or Bedford area.I realise its a long day having to change at Clapham Jnctn but if youve got the time and energy its worth the effort.
  • Managed to book three nights at Edinburgh Central St Mary's, Sun-Tues, in May; and three days at Leamington Spa, Thurs-Sun, in June - £15/£19 per night, around £100 in total for both places, so quite pleased with that.

It took a couple of hours on the website, revisiting and reloading, and booking the nights individually then paying in one go once I'd got the dates I wanted, but worth the persistence.

Also looked at Burford but couldn't find much at the cheaper end.

    Happy hunting/booking!:)
