I've just booked a week in Sharm El Sheikh leaving on the 13th March for 7 nights. Got a good price in a nice 5star hotel, AI, and it seems to get very good reviews on tripadvisor. This will be our first trip to Egypt and everyone tells me that it is lovely place, so I'm happy. Will let you know how we find it, when we get back. I'm on constant weather watch at the moment, checking out the daily weather temperatures!Nice Shoes & Expensive Designer Handbags, are my downfall!0

Hi, have been to Egypt years ago. Great place. Learn some basic arabic (counting, saying how are you etc.), it's great for use at the markets, the locals love it and it shows respect for your host country!! Also, runny bottoms (sorry) don't only come from water (although I had raw salads, washed in tapwater and never had a problem) but also from handling money (each banknote has been through lots of hands...). Take some anti bacterial wipes with you when you go out (also great for cooling down!!!). If you get a chance, try to book a flight to Abu Simbel. Look it up on the internet, amazing place. Oh, and don't pet the animals, however cute the puppies and kittens look, often there little skins are just crawling with creatures. Enjoy your trip!!0

That made me chuckle, but I know what he means. We went to the Domincan Republic and whilst out one day, saw a blind man with a donkey. Felt sorry for the donkey and went to give it a pat, next thing, blind man has scooped me off my feet, sat me on the donkey and tells the OH to take a photo. Then sweeps me back down and holds his hand out for money!!! He obviouslt wasn't that blind!
The temperatures there are currently approx 28 - 30degrees at the moment, which is the important bit!Nice Shoes & Expensive Designer Handbags, are my downfall!0 -
Me and my girlfriend have just booked a weeks Holiday to Taba at Easter, got a great deal. Just over £800, half board at the Hyatt Regency, can't wait, looks so good!
I found sky holidays, linked from the Teletext Holidays website very good value for money!
