Hi Aprils

Just thought that I would update you on my BR journey, so far...

Hubby is going BR this Friday!!! (13th) :eek: :eek:

I have helped him fill in his forms on-line, as found it easier, than doing the paper ones - got writers cramp!!

His forms are all done, so just waiting for the day to come, so I will post how his day in court was.

My date is at present set for 20th April.

May do it earlier, depends on costs, and if I can keep my DCA off my back, as I am getting a call from one of them that has got 4 of my creditors with them!! They must have called round my creditors, to get the work!! They are calling me nearly every day! (DCA - Moorcroft).

Hubby has been getting NO calls!!

My forms are already, again on-line, just need to print them off, nearer the time.

At least with hubby doing his first, then...
1) He will not get a nil tax code as BR before new tax year
2) At least, I will know what to expect!

We are at the stage where we are filling in online forms and juggling numbers about to see if we can escape an IPA!

Only 2 more days for Hubby, then the countdown for me starts!

Hope you are all bearing well, I am at the point of not answering phone as the DCA, keep trying to call me!!

Hi Zandy, it will be here before you know it really and just keep ignoring the calls, then you can take great delight in answering the first call after your BR date and tell them to stop calling you or you will report them to the OR for harassing a bankrupt person.

Must admit getting a bit fed up not answering calls, keep doing the old '1471' to see if I know the number, then having to call family/friends back!!

But will be looking forward to telling them to shove off!! (The DCA not my friends!!!)

hope your all doing ok thought id bump this one along as its been so busy.

Hi Zandy, hope it went ok for your hubby.

Well im ready - although i so know will be wibbling like mad soon enough.

Had a long chat with my ex about the house, he is going to buy my BI - well he has no choice really if he wants to protct his credit rating (i tried for 18 months to avoid this scenario) but have to put me first.

Yes, Hubby is now officially BR, as of Friday 13th!!!

I had posted on the March Club too, but he has loads of emotions going round, from feeling sad, failure to happy etc etc. :shocked: :sad:

We are still able to use the Co-op account that we opened back in January, after the advice from here, so many thanks for that.

Hubby has also opened his own Co-Op account, so when I go BR, we can transfer any money in joint Co-op account, over to his, just in case!

He is still to hear from the OR, had his initial telephone conversation with the OR clerk at the court, but no news as yet, as to him having a full interview.

He was the second in line at court, as they have a open session, but he saw judge first, as lady in front had not filled her forms in correctly. Again, Hubby had, with again BIG thanks to all on here :T

I am just counting down the days, and saving the pennies, for me to do mine

To those are still in the process of going BR, the process is not as bad as you think.

And again, which I cannot say enough a BIG THANK YOU to all of your help. And have a :beer: on me !!!
