I had been told I was going to get early discharge but still not heard anything, but I was also told I had to pay my tax amount over to Moonbeaver but still not had any intruction to pay that either.
They are not wildly efficient I feel.Bankrupt 15/04/09 Discharged 28/10/09

no, me either - i have been very much put back to reality by recently gathering some old post from my old flatmate whereby i discovered that one of the credit card companies are still writing to me.
they didnt even know i was bankrupt. so i think wildly inefficient is an understatement!

Have to have a whinge and moan, just got my electricity bill for 4 months £250 :eek::eek::eek:. How the h*ll is that possible? Single woman in a flat, I smell a rat:mad::mad::mad::mad:.
My parents haven't had an electricity bill for 1 year and 9 months
They chase the electric company daily and still get no where
They're house doesn't exsist seemingly
MBDFIn for a penny in for a pound :j0 -
i'd smell a rat too, ask them for a detailed print out of activity on the account from the moment you first moved in, this will either enable you to look through and see if there are any large jumps between readings and my prompt them to look at it. When i wanted to change suppliers i was told my final bill would be £800 there was no way that in 18 months when paying monthly i could have run up such a debt so I asked for printouts, miraculously they came back to me and adjusted final bill to £118. If i had not moved supplier i would probably not have noticed and just ended up paying thisBankrupt 15/04/09 Discharged 28/10/09

Hi Again
I thought this bankruptcy thing would be getting easier by now but it is just getting stressfull again. I went bankrupt 15th April 2009 and was discharged 28th October 2009. So you would think that would be then end of it. I have JUST started getting letters from Lloyds TSB with regards to a loan that was most certainly on the bankruptcy stating i am in arrears by £800 an i need to pay immediately and that it has now been passed on to a debt recovery agent and if i dont pay I will get taken to court and get a CCJ, whats all this about so you get screwed over again for these debts, what was the point in going bankrupt then. And I have moon beaver hassling for money saying i owe them £710 , not paying them a penny, especially as i dont see where the money is possibly going as the OR obviosly never bothered to let anyone know i went bankrupt and so I now have to let everyone know all over again, I now have to deal with !!!!!! phone calls all over again and the threat of court action and bailiffs.Bankrupt 15/04/09 Discharged 28/10/09

Just had a phone call chasing for a loan that was on the April 2009 bankruptcy and has been sold on to a company call equidebt. I know its for a loan prior to bankruptcy as I am still an entirely debt free zone, since being discharged in October 2009 and thought I had heard the end of it, can't belive it is all starting up again.Bankrupt 15/04/09 Discharged 28/10/09

jennie65 try not to let this get you stressed. Abbey/Santander write to me on average every 6 months plus they sold on the 'debt' I ignore all the letters I get - it serves to keep my shredder busy! Legally my debt is to the OR and he's getting his monthly payments!2019 MFW No. 74 £13700/£30000 (45.66%)
