Well we're done, got to the court at 9:50am for a 10:00am appointment. There was 7 or 8 other cases on the 10:00am slot and we were at the bottom of the list.
All the hearings seemed pretty quick and at 10:22am we were offically Bankrupt. The judge was a nice old guy, very friendly and asked if we'd sort advice and explained that we may get to keep the house if theres not much equity in it, said that the OR will be sending us a large pack to fill in and that they only look to recoup a much smaller % than a creditor would.
The clerk took maybe 5 minutes to do her thing and we were out around 10:30am.
It hasn't sunk in yet, feel kind of numb... not sure what to do with the rest of the day yet.
Thanks for all the advice I picked up on here and I shall keep you posted with how it goes with the OR. Hopefully they'll call today/tomorrow so that I can clarify if I can continue to use my Co-Op account.BSC No. 2540 -

Going back to feeling numb I can remember when I first came on here you start posting support and asking for advice and congratulating people who have done the deed ( as you should :T ) but deep down I felt very envious of the people who were now debt free and could not wait until it was my turn. Once it is done it is like a release valve and it takes a bit of time to sink in.
Sorry if that sounds a bit selfish but that is how it felt for me and everyone who I congratulate/ed I meant it and will continue to do so 100%

Edit...Sorry to get so deep just after lunch
