Hi everyone, welcome to the April 2009
Bankruptcy Club.

This club is for everyone who has gone through the process of Bankruptcy during April 2009. So please feel free to join and post.

Pop your name on here, the date that you went/are going Bankrupt and the stage that you are at in your Bankruptcy. And then just keep everyone in the club updated throughout the next year about your journey through Bankruptcy. That way we can all stick together and compare notes and we will be there to support each other throughout the different stages in our Bankruptcy.

Remember this is your board so keep posting.

Obviously anyone can come on here and post anything that will help us all and you are all welcome. Any important questions that do need answering are maybe still better posted on the main board but if you do put it on here, then maybe we can help each other.

Hopefully it will be an extra place for friendship and support as we compare notes and discuss what is happening with our Bankruptcies.

Am sure there will be so many questions that you will soon get fed up with me! This is all still terribly new to me, but I am trying to learn as much from the forum as I can, so maybe soon I will be able to help people too!

Calling the court was difficult for me, but the man on the line was so kind and friendly, it made it almost seem like a normal kind of thing to do!:o

Wish you all the best for the worrying days ahead, maybe we should open a bottle of wine one night!:rotfl:

Hey you can always drop into the Bankrupt Inn - virtual free drinks! and no hangover either!

And don't worry, we have all been newbies and not that long ago either, it is surprising how quickly you will pick things up.

make sure you get your Bankruptcy and Supporters club number too! Will find the thread and bump it up for you and anyone else too.

I am now part of the April club after deciding that Friday 13th March wasn't good for me financially - so have delayed until just before Easter. Just got to field the calls a little longer now... should be worth it to have everything in order before doing the deed!
