Our insurance system and penalty points system is more sophisticated than the UK. Our police officers unfortuantely aren't.

Polish your going to provoke a Jon question about the differences between the two countries systems now! This should be amusing.

Our two systems have some very sophisticated points and some very archiac parts as well. An overhaul could help us a lot but knowing how our Government / Insurance Industries work they will not be keen on changes unless they are forced on us.

It would be interesting to know some of the points that make your system better, as I only really know the UK system and a working knowledge of the German system. Can you post some of them up here?

the only links i can find on google say that the Polish Insurance system was largely held by the state until recently, where it's been heavily influenced by the participation of western companies
