I do wonder what settings the Which? reviewers used to output pics.Weighing the scalers
There's actually something to be said for driving this screen without upscaling standard-definition content at all. If your upscaling player uses an old or regular processing chip, you will be better served with coughing out 576p or 480p images. I did, and was dazzled by the results. SD video, from DVD or a set-top-box, is rich in detail and depth. One person who spied the set during testing actually thought SD DVD was high-definition footage, it's that involving. While lacking in the kind of absolute detail HD encodes can offer, this screen is assured in its standard-def control.Call me Carmine....

We recently purchased a TV from Richer sounds, the prices are really good, we went along to one of their stores and the sales guy was very helpful. We also purchased a 5 year warranty from them which is a one-off payment which was 10% of the price of the TV.0

£299 at Crampton and Moore with a free digibox thrown in. I guess this must the going rate for these now and the other retailers with higher prices will soon also drop.0

If they have these in John Lewis I believe they will price match Crampton & Moore and throw in the usual 5 year warranty. With a 5 year warranty with C&M it comes in at over £120 more expensive than RS, though. How much is a freeview digibox these days? £20?Call me Carmine....
