I have one of these for exactly the same reason and yes you can but the official way is to buy the hdmi and audio adapters. But you can do this the cheap way where you can just buy the TV and use the included HDMI cable and then search on youtube for the xbox360 hdmi hack.
and then you should have a brilliant setup!!
BTW this tv is awesome for gaming! It also plays 60hz games like PGR4. No motion blur at all. I've played Forza 2, PGR 4, Fifa 09, Fight night round 3 and mirrors edge since I got this tv and I can report no problems at all. The performance is like a £900 tv but you can get this for £269.95!! HOW? Check out the web page the updated price is £269.99!! and take the printout to your local richer sounds and voila, £269.95 for a tsp £900 tv!!
Also I played DVD's from my xbox360 which upscales the video and OMG I got dark knight the other day it is awesome on this tv!! Some bright scenes you'd mistake for HDTV content!! I love this tv!! However I wouldn't really recommend it for people with limited HDMI equipment because you'll end up having to replace all your current equipment to ones which include HDMI and for that you could just add an extra £100 and get the lg32lg3000 from richersounds which includes freeview and loads of connections like scart etc.
Still this tv is a bargain for anyone with a HDMI capable xbox360.0 -

Hi
I am intrested in this tv, but could someone tell me if it is possible to put a aerial connection/magic eye from the RF Out 2 from the sky box or is there only a HDMI connection.
thanks0 -

Slim and svelte this 32-inch Hitachi LCD may be (it’s only 3.5cm thick) but it utterly failed to impress our viewing panel. The standard definition pictures suffer from what sounds like a roll call of digital processing problems – poor colour accuracy, picture noise, lack of detail and motion problems. It doesn’t even handle widescreen switching properly.
Hitachi has managed to make this set so slim by removing the digital tuner and most of the sockets and sticking them in separate boxes (bought separately). Rather annoyingly, the display only sports one HDMI input – and this is to plug in the separate digital tuner. If you want to connect a DVD player or recorder, for instance, you’ll need to buy a separate ‘media box’ (around £370).
If you did invest in all the extras to turn this set into a TV rather than just a display, the rewards may prove somewhat illusionary. Picture quality is awful – everything looks slightly green, even the ever-present prickly picture noise.
Even HD doesn’t escape the dreaded green, but with a bit of colour banding and motion smear thrown in for good measure. The audio is limited in range but isn’t too bad in spite of a loud buzz present when tuned into Freeview.
Not surprisingly, the Hitachi proves a pain to use – it’s basically two un-integrated products. The friendly looking TV remote sports some nice large buttons but that’s about it for positive comments.
The digital box and display each come with their own remote and instruction manuals, and the control panel on the TV is awkward to access. To add insult to over-priced injury, you even have to stick the button labels on yourself.
Power consumption when switched on is under 100 watts, but there’s no power-saving ambient light sensor, a feature that’s become standard on most other leading brands.
Pros: Incredibly slim – but at a price
Cons: Terrible picture, display and ‘media box’ sold separately, difficult to use0
