Whilst I haven't got this TV so couldn't prove Which's report is erroneous, I genuinely think they have a faulty model there. Everything looks green?? Something doesn't sit right here...always a chance of something going amiss when you have to provide a separate plug-in TV signal, I suppose.

Well you may be right about it being a faulty model...but would you take a chance on it?

Even though I started the thread, I decided against buying one fairly quickly, so I suppose it's a mute point. Although I've heard Richersound's CS is very good so maybe not a huge risk? Who knows?

We have been using this telly for about 2 weeks, picture quality is really good.

I don't agree with the Which? report.

Green picture? What green? What on earth are they plugging into this telly to get this sort of picture?

We have ours plugged into a Virgin HD box and the picture is outstanding even when watching standard definition.

The only thing we need to buy is a new wall mount because it is not the same size as our old wall mount bracket.
  • Sorry, silly question. Does this thing have speakers...

It depends on how much you want to spend, you can buy a manual switched one for £18 delivered here:

Or if you want to go that bit further, you can have a remote controlled one with a few more bells and whistles for £53 here:

both will do the job ;)

With the above HDMI splitters or in general, do you get distortion, signal degredation or or ghosting like you use to with Scart splitters?

That's the part of their 'review' that rang alarm bells with me. Seriously, if a member of the public got ANY TV from the shops, plugged it in and had a green picture, what would they do? Straight back to the shop. So why haven't Which? made any reference to changing their existing review model to see if it was faulty? If they had just said they didn't rate the PQ and not mentioned the green bit I would have been far less suspicious, TBH.
