    That's quite high, working that out by average you are looking at about £100-110 per month.

    I've used the 3 search's above and this is the result

    uSwitch = £485.00

    The Energy shop = £475.00

    The energyhelpline = £475.00

    All are with the same company EDF online / V6.

    I called EDF to see what difference my DD would be, but they cannot offer me online / V6 over the phone :confused:

    As uSwich off the biggest saving, am I better going with them?

    Well, it doesn't matter which comparison site but you could consider using one that gives cashback or going through quidco or similar. All will mean you end up on same EDF tariff so the savings will be the same.

    I'm assuming you can settle your account with your current supplier. If so, you can switch straight away. Once you've filled in the form online, all is done for you. You just give meter readings when asked.

    Once we've switched, we get a final bill (if I've understood it right)

    Yes, and it takes a little while to switch so you may be better off by the time another payment or two is credited.

    Thanks for all your help Sue, we're going to switch to EDF, but why they can't offer me the online deal over the phone I'm :confused:
