    Morning all, hope everyone's well.

Have had a busy day today, have tidied everything away in the lounge, vacuumed and dusted everywhere too, cleaned and tidied the hall and stairs and cleaned the kitchen - floor needs mopping but I have vacuumed and I cleaned my cooker and the door because hubby spilt something down it and it went between both pieces of glass and of course, they have no idea how to get to that part! (even though you just KNOW the cooker was designed by a man because of all the fiddly bits that you have to remove to clean it - no nice easy wipeable surfaces on any cooker I know!!! )
Sorry, bit of a rant there, but I have also washed 3 loads of washing, 2 are hanging on the line (first time I've used it this year! :j ) and the other is just finishing now, but I will tumble that as it is socks/pants/towels which won't take long to do and I like how the towels come out when they've been tumbledried.

So all in all a very productive day :D .

    See you in a bit.

Thanks Toots. I find these lists fantastic too - my house was such a mess before that I really didn't know where to start, so I didn't start anywhere as it was so overwhelming :o .
Also managed 1 WM load today plus planted some seeds for the allotment, was hoping to get out in the garden as well today to plant some plants that arrived yesterday but it has just started chucking it down

Wow! Wouldn't want to be at hers on Cleaning Out Pets flyday!! I only have Jaikie (adorable long haired fluffball of a bossy cat) and he's bad enough!

Been S&S as I go along yesterday and today-it's lovely! Have been able to easily make the fairy cakes (ok, giant ones - muffins really!) as had clear access to cupboards and work surfaces, started on 1950's dress I am doing for my dressmaking course....all puttery treats, really, not exactly flying! But, I'm worth it!

I have been lax, however. It is my brothers birthday next Friday, and I was hoping to knit him up a geek chic hat I designed in 2ply. However, haven't started so must get busy on the needles - or just save myself the stress and go shopping? Just realised must be finished by Wednesday,to post it to him.....

On the career change front, am feeling really positive, thanks to all your help. I have registered with GTTR, and am in the process of filling in the application. I have decided to go with Citizenship - the more I read, themore interesting it seems. The subject matter will constantly change, and it will be wonderful to contribute to society - perhaps more people will vote in years to come! (for politicians, not X factor!):rotfl: If I don't get in to my choices, then I am now prepared to go to clearing, and move if necessary. EBT will only be for a year or two.

Toots, many thanks for the hearts - I am pleased with my first week of flying, and I know it will get easier the more I do......

Hope you are all well - remember to take time out for yourselves! Have a "HHFS" (half hour for self!) - you've earned it!

Jayjay hope your DS is ok. Big hugs for OH and you, this must be such a worrying time for you both x
Mum on a mission, oh no, not the nicest thing to bring back, hope it clears up soon
kazw ((hugs)) for you both (especially for DP flying!) no further forward then, hope it's sorted soon
Quillion she should open a zoo!!
Mudbath now I'm the jealous one!

Strangely DPs took the boys out, on his own, yes both of them, to the racing that's on so they can have a go. It's all too weird with him doing a little more decorating and emptying the DW this week definately something not right!

Which leaves me to tackle laundry catch up and hopefully housework catch up a bit depending how long it lasts (touching wood!!)

Parent in crisis, so frustrating!!! DSs old school, have decided to pick on my friends nephew, this week they have excluded him for something they have now found out he didn't do but said now they started the process they can't go back on it, !!!!!!!!! To say I am angry is an understatement!!! Fired off some emails, going to see what support I can drum up on Monday (more frustrating they mention it on a weekend!)

I've got those yummy duck eggs so tempted to have a little breakfast, poached eggs on toast :D Need to keep an eye open for neighbour returning from caravan, doesn't bother me his 18 year old having friends round as there was no noise but her mates blocking our drive with their cars has wound me up!

Right, off to feed the WM, actually HHC 12.45 -1.15 will include 1 WM load, 1 TD load in, DW filled, kitchen benches cleared and brekkie made. Anyone joining me?
One day I might be more organised...........

    Afternoon one and all.

It is really windy here - need to see if the washing on the line is dry and fetch in accordingly.

    Footie done
    Morrisons mini shop done
    lunch done

Just going to rinse the gammon and put the next wash on then go over to Nans.

Kaz hugs my love men just deal with things totally differently from us don't they.

Toots enjoy the footspa. Back of the cupboard does not sound like a good place to store it if it becomes a to do to get it out again.

MOAM well done on the win and hope you are better soon

Soappie how those bones of your doing now?

Mudbath :D I'm jealous now!!! We're not away until April :( have you booked anywhere nice?

Woooohooooo list complete, nomnom brekkie/lunch time, got a cuppa too. 1 or 2 washer loads and I should be done on catch up, however I need to get it dry and it's fupping snowing! ARGH! So TD is on.

When sorting paperwork abandoned in the kitchen I found a letter from BG that says they take over supply from the 4th not the 12th, so will have to phone tomorrow to check. We've used about 10000kwh in a year, wonder if that's sort of normal? I was thinking being away a lot makes a massive difference but in part I doubt it did, they were times of year we wouldn't have used heating (colder weekends DP was here with it on) and washing etc was still done at home. We have showers instead of baths. So gas usage won't have been too highly effected. Electric will probably be sky high as usual, I should check now as I have info from Feb 08 handy which was 85008 mid Feb.....

Speaking of BG I need to get in touch with DPs Nana today, BG been round to service and told her not to use her system without a carbon monoxide detector and a hole in her wall (rules changed since it was done last year?) they gave her a price expecting her to have it done with them but not a hope. I have a fire angel carbon monoxide detector spare and DPs brother will do the hole in the wall. Not a hope we're paying over the odds for their stuff.

Right, brekkies nearly all gone, another HHC from 1.30-2pm I will do

    Fill recycling bags/bin with rubbish
Wipe over kitchen benches and door fronts
Put clean/dry laundry in my room to be sorted
Collect abandoned paperwork from rest of house - must find my tax disc
    Clear under sofas
Put boys lego in the box
    Electric meter reading
Tidy games basket/what has been left on the floor
One day I might be more organised...........
