    *flitting in and out again*

Beautiful sunshine here, so I'm off to the allotment as soon as I've put the chicken in. DD was a little better yesterday late evening, thank you for good wishes.

I've had the contract from France for the house rental, so it looks as if we'll have somewhere to stay!

    Have a lovely day!

Good morning all. I've hardly done any flying this last week, though I have kept on top of the clutter and the laundry is up to date.

More laundry las night and this morning as DS has brought his back and has stayed overnight, he's depressed as he had some bad news about a good friend on Thursday so he come home for some tlc I think.

OH had a meeting at work on Friday and has been notified that his job finishes on 20th March, so he's not on top form either. It was a temp job (lasted 11 months so not too bad) so we knew it had to end sometime but it doesn't make the job situation any easier.

We had hoped to go out for the day today (especialy as the sun is beautiful here at the moment) but DS is still here so we may have to shelve that until next week.

I think I really need some retail therapy.

Trouble is then you have to pay it all back:rotfl:

Morning everyone. Lovely sunny day here!

My brother called at 9.30 to tell me that he and his fiancee are dropping in on their way back from a christening this afternoon, so I need to do some more baking so that there is a cake for tea! Possibly butterscotch... and I'll do some more baking for the cake sale at the same time.

So rather than going to yoga & pilates, I've now got to clear up the kitchen & utility room, do the handwashing and go and buy epsom salts.

DW is on, breakfast has been eaten, and sausage casserole is in the SC (it should make bean soup too, as it's got lots of veggies & beans in it, and plenty of liquid).... but I also need to finalise my meal plan for my dad's stay too...

jayjay - hugs for you. Hope your DH and DS are sorted out soon.

soappie - I hope your weather forecasting system is wrong ;) and that you feel more comfortable soon

dusty - hope your nan is feeling better and that the microwave works out

toots - good luck with the decluttering, whatever form it takes!
  • Hi Flygang,

back from Crufts (which was fun if somewhat tiring work), sadly didn't meet up with Pigpen, and brought back a gastro bug with me - so not in the kitchen today methinks!

place is a tip - I've only been away 3 days - why do boys just not see the mess??

so plans to tidy up indoors, quick shop for essentials, catch up some washing with this blowy weather, and sort uniforms etc for tomorrow.

some good news to report - I've won a competition thanks to the comps board and have a very posh lunch to look forward to, and my somewhat iffy job is safe for at least 12 months. would like to feel a bit better so we can raise a glass of something nice!!

    best get on...

    Moam
Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

Quick post to say I'm still around and I didnt have the heart to abandon OH on Friday, was just hurt and upset that he preferred to be in the pub rather than tell me how he got on! We ended up meeting in Mr T to do the food shop and he eventually told me at around 5pm that he still doesnt know if he keeps his job as that meeting was just to go over the facts again  . But on a more positive note it is only a job!

Have done some flying this weekend (so did OH!!! ) and am taking it easy this morning as at work this afternoon.

Massive hugs to all those in need (as I havent back tracked fred yet) and I will be back in this week of sorts as best as I can with work n stuff.

Thanks for all your support xxx
