Also SandraScarlett just to say that in Epsom they tend to have the clearance stuff on the right hand side (once you've gone through the front of the store past the perfume/makeup section & they are on the end of the aisles - about 4 of them I think and opposite those on right against the wall. Ooh just to add this is if you enter the store from the shopping centre side not the street side! Also one of the No7 SA's (blonde) is really lovely. Haven't been there in a couple of weeks so not sure what they've got in clearance. HTH!
Ooooh just had a thought - sorry if I should have posted this on the chat thread!! Oops - will post there as well walks away all dazed & confused scratching head...
Thank you so much for this info Popkins! I've printed it out, so we know what we'll be doing! It's Boots related, so it's quite OK (at least I think so) to post this here!
Heard yesterday that a friend has a muscle wasting disease, and lung cancer - never smoked. So I have made her a goody bag too, for when I visit tomorrow, with - guess what? Good old No 7 Sumptious Bath! She's also got a 19p Bath Scrunchie thingy, a Sanctuary GWP and a No 7 GWP.
It's so good to be able to take gifts to poor ol' pals, without them costing you a fortune. Everyone I give them to is thrilled. I always make sure that if they are having chemo that I remove the mascara, and don't include hair products.

Those were on SEL at 74p and bogof too sunshinesquirrel. But not everywhere (yet) unfortunately. Still worth a look out for imo. hths
Here was me thinking i was doing well with one at 74p too!!!! Never knew they were BOGOF. Oh well, that'll teach me to go bootsing with a hangover.... oh well, never mind!

is the bond street one the boots thats actually on oxford st or is that sedley place??
confused....does anyone know?
Let's assume you have come up the steps at Bond Street Station. You are now on Oxford Street. If you turn to the right, Sedley Place is a few yards along. That store has loads of floors and a basement, and SS tills.
But if you turn to the left, you will come to another store. This has a "front" opening onto Oxford Street, then you go up a couple of steps, and keep going, round the back, to the SS tills.
There is an exit leading to the escalators that take you back to the station. I think of them as Little Bond Street and Big Bond Street! HTH

I feel bad nowbut 74p for one is still a great bargain imo
Sometimes I only learn these things myself by trial and error (and a bit of extra cost lol). But I tend to buy things in 3's
and then see what happens lol, but in the case of the Pearl Drops, which OH and dd use anyway, there was only two. Good job they weren't on 342 I suppose :rotfl:

Hi Sandra, and can I be the first to say Happy Anniversary? You're obviously a couple who were in it for the long haul too
(loved the Beatles btw
)
On a more sombre note - sorry to hear about your friendbut thanks for mentioning about the hair products and mascara. It would never have entered my head not to include those in any gifts
Trying to stay on topic, so those Sanctuary Travel sets can still be found. I spotted, and bought, another two today, and still at £1.72 from £6.86

Awww, don't feel bad - i thought it was a good deal anyway! Without all the great tips and advice i've read on these boards, I wouldn't have come across half the bargains I've had over the last few months. (and my mum thinks I am a bit of a whizz when it comes to boots bargains :rotfl: :rotfl: )

Hi all, went for a quick trip around my local and came out with nothing, yet again!
Hope we find a lovely offer from mr b soon:D. Have 2 perkies and cant spend them for trying, popping into a store further afield next week so may have better luck.
Of topic, had made a charity mothers day pamper hamper with some of the freebies/ cheapies ive managed to get. Worked out it cost me about £10/£15 to make, but was worth around £40/£50 but it fetched £200 in the charity auction, i was so pleased and it was lovely to support a great cause, made me feel so warm inside:j.
Ps thankyou to all the generous kind posters for sharing info here, you are all lovely and to those who clear shelves etc, well what can i say its your call but allways remember that what goes around comes around, so try and do something nice for someone cause there is nothing as good as putting a smile on somebodys face. You laugh because I'm different......I laugh cause I just farted!

It is amazing isn't it JT? I've never tried the Slimfast diet, or any other diet tbh, but when I did lose a fair amount of weight myself, it was when I supplemented lunch for a Slimfast drink. I wouldn't mind, but I rarely ate lunch anyway!but the drinks (not smoothies - I'm not keen on those) are a good replacement meal imo. But you have to eat to lose weight. Some people knock Slimfast for some reason (possibly too much sugar? I'll have to check) but imo, they are good.

very disappointed with this store at the mo:rolleyes: No No7 pallettes or any other No7 bargains:( Still some reduced No7 suncreams and foundations, but that's about all. No good to us anyway, as the perkie doesn't work with either anymore.
spotted some DNAge body zone actionon clearance shelf, reduced to £2.57 I was expecting the till to take £3 off the total of my shopping (DNAge is on offer with £3off) but it didn't:rolleyes: I've just seen it on dotcom for £10.27 so I still got a bargain. There was about 4 left if anyone is interested.
All the reduced toothbrushes are on a clearance stand at the end of the bathing aisle with clearance stickers on, priced at 95p each. A bit more expensive than peeps are getting them for in other stores:rolleyes:
still lots of med reductions and some FCUK and elle. All on the clearance stand.
lots of £1 lunch bags (aren't they cute?:D ), but sadly no ACM offer of a freebie for me or DD. As It only costs £1, I think I will just buy one:)
Loads of reductions on tights. The cheapest ones I saw are £1.75
look out for reductions on the PP love legs range, if you like these products. I saw sachets, reduced to 50p and cooling leg gel, £2
I don't think there was anything else to report back. I wrote some notes, but I did it in a hurry (didn't want any of the staff to see me, or they'd think I'd really lost the plot:rotfl: ) and I can't read my own writting...I mean scribble:o
forgot to mention: DD bought a couple of pks of smint and there was a sign up to say they are BOGOF, but the till didn't recognise the offer. So watch out for this if you are buying any.
They've run out of perkies upstairs. I went down to the No7 lady and got one off her:D Spotted a few more on the counter near her till, but didn't have the nerve to ask for them:rotfl:
I hope everyone is having a good day:D0 -
i also saw this s&g bag, was tempted to buy it for £3.63 but didnt really need it so left it for a fellow bootser....just realised now i shouldve hid it for you!!!

Sorry to snip!! but where was this!! I wonder how come it was £3.63 - I paid the £6.** last week and I love it - for £3.63 a lovely bargain & would love it for one of my hampers!!! getting fed up of no bargains around here!!!
Popped out today & went to Epsom store - absolutely rubbish - sorry Sandrascarlett don't want to spoil your plans for Weds but there really was nothing worth having! I just used a perkie to buy the makeup brushes set so £2.** to pay. Then popped to Bansted branch and again pretty rubbish but they did have about 10 tubes of No7 for Men Post Shave Recovery Balm SPF15 reduced to £3.18 from £6.** so got a couple of those & gained 250points using GWP voucher & a perkie so £1.36 to pay - will put them away for hamper. other than that all rubbish!
Wasn't there someone who said they'd be willing to get the No7 Artist Pallette thingy & post it? think I'm seriously considering taking up that offer as they don't seem to be materialising around here! sorry can't remember who it was - will try and look back to see...0
