Still at the honeymoon stage then Sally ;)

We didn't even exchange cards this year lol, just wished each other a happy anniversary, but we did more or less say at the same time:"Where the hell did that go?" :rotfl: The bloke deserves a medal if you ask me :D He's taking me out later, and I'm wondering if I can fit a Boots shop in (how romantic lol) and I think we probably will  so I'd better jump in the Soap and Glory filled bath ;)

After seeing the 37 years in print, it's just dawned on me that between us, we've notched up 74 years of marriage  I might mention that to him ...when the car's stationary

    Angie100 - I don't think rubes would agree with you somehow ;)

On-topic (phew) lol - The Boots shaver that I didn't go out to get but got - for £3.50

Keep your eyes open for those ;) Have a great day peeps  lol. Laters xxx

Lol Passion8 - does that mean you are getting all the bargains and not Rubes then!!!!!:rotfl:

Hope you have a lovely night out with you hubby tonight, 37 years is something to be proud of so you both deserve medals;)

Well done in spotting that razor!!! Yet another example of why I should move close to your house!!!!:rotfl:

I agree that there is nothing wrong with stocking up, but there is a difference between stocking up and clearing the shelves of a complete range of reduced products, and ensuring that no other customers (who are obviously wanting to get them) manage to grab any.

I think the scenario being described was somebody who was grabbing at all reduced stuff in sight before any one else could, I think thats greedy, and I dont think there would be many people on this thread whho would do that.

I made the original post. The 'person' stood there and systematically stripped every reduced item from the stand.

'Greedy' is a polite word for what I was thinking about her:o. I admit I would have had 5 toothbrushes, as there are 5 in the family, & if possible 4 toothpastes (1 each for little luxs' college boxes plus 1 for house).
    But when I got there
    the dental stand was bare
And so poor old Luxor[strike] said 'Bum!'[/strike] had none.

These sort of shoppers are the minority though, not the majority. :)
The lovely ladies and gents who post their finds here, do so in order to help others pick up a bargain too.
I am very thankful to everyone who has done so, as it helps you out, by showing you what to look out for.
It is 'greedy' as you say and selfish, to take everything off the shelves and leave nothing for others.
If I see a bargain, I always post it on here, in the hope that it will help other Bootsters out and I will continue to do so. :)

Also can I just thank some lovely ladies who saw my jokey post about my 'brag envelope' last week.
The next day I went out to hunt one of the fabled 'brag books' down and found them in pink, lilac and blue.
When I logged on to MSE, I had lots of pm's from bootsters offering to send me a book. What a nice gesture, thanks to everyone. :)
Mind you I still have my 'brag envelope' too...Not sure I have got the hang of the book yet.:o

Can anyone tell me why the till refused to let me pay with points yesterday for my magazines? I thought you could use the points for anything in store? TIA and have a great day:beer:

    Congrats Passion8, well done!!!

hiya:) I've redeemed points against magazines loads of times. I'm not sure why the till wouldn't let you:confused:the only time the till beeped, was when I didn't have enough points to pay for the magazine:rolleyes: I'd forgotten I'd used them all:o

BTW, I will send you a PM when we have set a date for our meet-up:D

Well, I went to Boots yesterday and bought a sweet Emma Bridgewater pencil case (what I will use as a small make-up bag) reduced to £2.50 (is £6 on her website: http://www.emmabridgewater.co.uk/ProductDetails.aspx?pid=BWBR345&cid=PATBTM&language=en-GB), some hair sectioning clips reduced to £2.20 and some cotton wool pads reduced to 32p to take me over a fiver so I could get a voucher!

Anyway, I would LOVE a no 7 pallette - has anyone spotted one in my area (I live in Bedford so MK, Luton etc. etc.) or have they got them at Westfield as DH work's opposite and can pop out for me!!

    Thanks

    Em xXx
:D Mummy to two gorgeous LO's and always in search of a bargain!!! :D

so could i buy a mini s&g and get the gwp free?
stupid question but are the mini's in the pic included in the bag? it probably is.

and thankyou for everyone who's given me help before. its's helped me a LOT.

Just catching up so sorry if this has already been answered.

The bag actually goes through with no purchase. It's just the gift bag - the minis are not included, if only!!:D

:D That reminds me of when I used a bit of a dated EL Pleasures perfume. I was dashing out to a party at my sisters one day, squirted some Pleasures on, and realised it was probably 'turning'.

Not wanting to risk the wrath of OH by turning back, washing it all off, and being late, I tried to mask it by spraying Clinique's Aromatics on :o (no laughing jimsmum ;)) I thought I'd be able to wash it all off when I got to my sisters lol. But without even mentioning it, I walked in and both my sister and her 2 x 20+ year old dd's LOVED it and asked what it was!:confused: :rotfl:

    I should have © this post :D;) Apologies for being off-topic :o x
*just shakes her head in disbelief*

    :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Any chance I can have a chat with your OH? it is mse afterall. i'll teach him to decanter zaflora into that bottle, you'll save a fortune dear and nobody will know the difference ;) 37 years  my lord his nostrills must be burnt the poor bloke :p :rotfl:
    Hehe!! Congratulations though

can anyone please tell me where the bar code is? i know this sounds stupid but is it the number directly under the bar code or the one a bit further down??

It's the number immediately under the bar code. I think the other number is actually your AC. If the numbers are different, the till accepts them against the same product, but this is SA dependant.
