Thanks for the quick reply jimsmum. I'm just about to head to the mall and I've got quite a lot of points that I've had for a while and fancy spending but don't need toiletries.

I can now picture a basket of Saturday night eatables :D
If you buy a meal deal, don't forget you can buy any snack under the value of £1.50 and if any drinks are on bogof you can also buy them and still only pay the £2.99 for the meal deal :) or if say a bottle of coke is £1.20 but on a 2 for £1.50 offer you'd only pay the 30p extra for the second bottle of coke.

<snipped> Kensington high street - big store: ...

I wombled a couple of perkies... quote]

Sally, methinks we must have wombled the store clean - I got six today! Spotted one next to a poor old dear waiting on the chairs at the Pharmacy. Plonked myself down next to her, smiled, snatched the perkie and wandered off. She must have thought "what was that all about?" Then found three scrunched up with their receipts in a basket. Wombling's now more fun than bootsing itself. HSK no perkies on reduced items.

Used a perkie on a Perky - Not this store, but took a No7 Perky Peach Highlighter to till and asked SA if I could use a perkie, she said yes, scanned and presto, paid 25p.

Hammersmith Broadway - has No7 Stay Perfect foundations (New Ivory and Blonde) for 3.00. No perkies allowed.

Kew is getting ready for new counters for Lancome, Estee Lauder and Clinique (??).

Just picked some some dental bits today, nothing exciting.

The Superdrug one was very similar to this one on eBay:

    linky

but had a different brand name. It lasted for years rather than months, and because it's sponge filled, the frugal side of me came out, and instead of discarding it when it was past its best, I just added a bit of ordinary remover to it :o;) Hope that long-winded reply helped :D

Passion8 - is this what you wanted?

I got the Sally Hansen Strengthening Polish Remover when it was on offer recently and it's brilliant takes off even the brightest or darkest shades easily. hth

Thanks for that :) I might try the reduced pads that I bought, that weren't reduced LOL, but I'll give that a whirl :)

Sorry about that - I had to pop off :D The one I used for the really dark colours was a cheap one too - but from Superdr*g. As pollsdolls would say, Law of Sod is at work ;) because I lost it, (in the house :o lol) and have used the cheapish Boots own since. (It's still not that good on dark varnishes imo and uses far too many pads to remove it, and still manages to stain your fingers, but that might be because I used it wrong? So for now, I've been using lighter polishes.)

Edit: Oh my days lol - can someone shorten that link for me by quoting it with a linky please? Thanks :)

many thanks for your reply, I might try that pot and give it a go.

Angie baby, get a pack of No7 Moisture Gloves (or whatever they are called), they have an SEL of £4.89 or something. If you have an SS till, take it there, and use the PURPLE and it works. Did it twice today with an SA watching over me, worked fine. I guess it also works for other No7 items such as Nail Buffer things and what not. You might as well use the PURPLE thing up if you have one, no point in it going to waste. HTH.

    mimi...

did u get the ones in the new packaging or the old packaging?
