Hiya Sally :) If no-one posts one up before, I'll ask OH to take a pic tomorrow morning :) x

    Morning Sally and all :)

I can't post the pic up unfortunately, 'cos I've locked myself out of photobucket :o :rotfl: But I looked at them again and I'm not sure a picture would have helped anyone anyway because they just look like a cream square inserted into a see-through bag :D

If you look for a zip-loc kind of bag with the No7 logo and * '3 Pack' on the front, you should find them. hth :)

(*Make sure you don't pick up a 3 pack of anything else *wink* lol)

Edited again: Just realised I could probably email it to you :D

For those who order on .com: What happens when you hit the "reorder" button in your order history? I know it's supposed to let you order the items again, but does it automatically place the order or does it let you go in and add/subtract items before placing the order? I just hit the button to see what would happen, and after a long delay it just reloaded the same "order history" page I was already on! I hope I didn't accidentally reorder everything, lol.

Afaik skibster, it just places what you've reordered into your basket, so you can delete or add as necessary. Unless dot com's changed yet again lol. hth

There are hundreds of the "Petal" ltd edition no7 eye pallets in the fargate branch of sheffield @ £5.37.

Now, they look like tat but I've got a perkie burning a hole in my purse so thought for 37p me mam might like it as it looks like it's from the sixties, like her :D. So very sweetly asked the No7 SA if I could use my voucher against it and was met with a stony "NO". Not to be put off by the miserable cow I sweetly said, "Oh there's not a lot of things you can use it on this time round, without spending a bit of money-credit crunch and all that"-all smiles. She then pointed to the No7 cleanser that I could get for £7.50 and stormed off.

So clearly Boots doesn't want my custom and wishes to keep the carp eyeshadow they couldn't sell at full price and can't shift at half price.

My No7 voucher is staying firmly in my bag unless I can start using it on some bargains-I will therefore not be bothering, as another poster said, to make spends up to £5 to gain another. Given the huge amount of reduced foundations and lipsticks hanging around my local for the last week not going anywhere (where reduced items normally fly off the shelves in two minutes) the lovely Mr B is going to end up with a lot of stock he can't shift, a lot less money from £5 spends and a lot more No7 on the shelves.

    So there :p

    rant over lol

I got a small booklet today giving £20 off glasses. I didn't check it out but if you want me to let me know and I'll check for T&Cs.
Quoting myself was easier than sniping SS's post.

The £20 off glasses voucher says

"Excludes Ready Reading Glasses, £25 and £45 complete price glasses and reglazes. Voucher can be used with our Free Second Pair offer but not with any other offer or discount. Vouchers can only be used once, cannot be used retrospectively and is not transferable. Photocopies will not be accepted. Excludes bootsopticians.com. Expires 30 April 2009. Coupon code MK Q1"

There is also a free eye test if you buy a complete pair of glasses or contact lenses voucher.

The booklet is actually and A4 leaflet that opens like a book but has not got other pages inside (sorry as clear as mud :o ).

If you need this SS let me know and I'll post.

LOL, I'm just wondering why you want to spend 37p and use a voucher on 'tat' :D (I can't remember the Petal pallettes or anything like them from the 60's either btw ;))

There was a big sign near some Rainbow pallettes in one of the York stores saying 'not to be used etc', but I think if you spent a certain amount (can't remember the spend now) you could have one. Woo hoo lol. But I think with a bit of savvy shopping, peeps might have been able to get one by buying something they needed and maybe get a GWP too? SA dependant obviously ;)

    snippety snip ;)
Passion8. as the saying goes, if you can remember anything from the sixities then you weren't there :rotfl:

I do think they look a little bit sixties though, if you close one eye and squint a bit it looks like the Mary Quant daisy logo :D (on acid, lol)

PS Mr B is shooting himself in the foot by not letting us use perkies on reduced items, he'll just be left with loads of stuff that he can't shift then we'll get it for peanuts on clearance later in the year. Ha!

Could anyone tell me, please, where i should find No7 Moisturising Gloves? And how much are they?
    TIA

They are just less than £5.00, about £4.89 or something. I found them in the NAIL ACCESSORIES section with all the Ruby and Millie eye fashion implements and sponges etc. The packaging looks really tacky for the Moisturising Gloves, but the gloves look the same as the last set. Try and go to a SS till if you have one, as some SA's are not even willing to try it. HTH.

Hi Mimi, As I've mentioned to you I practically apply my make-up with a trowel so subtlety in this area is not my forte..but maybe in Clinique's attempts to make the men's concealer subtle..it just doesn't work at all! Such a shame and waste of your time, eh? P.S Your turn of phrase so makes me laugh!

Hi babes. I think I am taking it back. Tried it again this morning and all the dark markings are still showing! Boohiss. I was thinking I would look super glam with it on and not look like a dartboard! Oh well. Not sure I want to take it back though as the Clinique woman was not nice. Complete moose if you ask me actually. Called CS to ask if I would be able to take it back. I probably would have had a better conversation with my nephew who can't talk. Honestly, some of the people Mr Boots hires! Shambolic.

Anyway, must dash, got 2 dishes on the go and got some cleaning to do too before I hit the gym. Have a good weekend all. Hugs to all and then some.
  • Mimi, Maybelline Dream mousse concealer is excellent, it covers well, doesn't cake and comes in a few different shades.
There's nothing to say that guys can't use it
