  • On the subject of Boots not advertising their GWPs, we saw a young girl buying Sanctuary stuff that easily qualified for the GWP.

As she was on the adjacent SS till to us, we managed to point this out, hold her place while she got the GWP, and made her very happy!

Also the number of peeps who walk away from SS tills without claiming their Perkie is criminal!

I suppose I could always get another half a dozen Sumptuous Bath Soaks with my Perkies .................. I've just counted - I have 18!! One each for DDIL and DD on Mothers Day, that still leaves 16.

I shall just have to have 3 baths a day!

I am sure I saw some of this reduced the other day at my local. Well it was Roc something or the other anyway.

Quite a lot of VICHY free things in LEEDS ALBION STREET. Located near the Clinique counter, to the side where the creams and what not are.

Think I might have to do the Fort again, to see if their clearance has been re-stocked. If anyone has done Crown Point or Stockport over the last couple of days, can they please let me know if its worth a trip? TIA

    Suzi xx

Went to Crown Point early on Wednesday, walked up and down each aisle and found nothing reduced, clearance stand seems to have disappeared, apart from a couple of No7 items.

I wouldn't bother, I am nipping in again tomorrow after work if there is anything to report I will post again.

Thanks, hun! Was Thinking of trying there instead of the Fort in the morning, but might skip it & keep my fingers crossed that the Fort lives up to its previous bargains from earlier in the week.

Have you tried using a Perkie against any reduced items (inc the compact foundations) in the last couple of days? If so, can you let me know how you got on? Its no fun Bootsing at the moment, is it!!

Also, I'm due for an eye test, and I reckon I'll need stronger reading glasses. I haven't been to Boots before for matters optical, and I should have had this done when there was the £20 discount. Does anyone know please what sort of p-rice new glasses start at? Would I need a mortgage?

    Have a nice weekend all.

    Hi everyone!
just came across this free D&A eye test from nectar on the discounts thread:
    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.html?p=19701395&postcount=5

    hth!

I was in Kingston today too - lunchtimeish, on lookout for SS & Dee but didn't see anyone with suitcase!:D

tried to get the No 7 perfect pedicure thingy with a perkie (was reduced to £7.33)
    http://www.boots.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10052&productId=46102&callingViewName=&langId=-1&catalogId=11051

sorry don't know how to do snazzy links! :o

but SS till said offer not met! so lovely SA very kindly came over to help, tried scanning perkie a few times but no joy. So she said that was probably cos was electrical so I said I would leave it and she voided it for me.

    Managed to get:
    Shop 1
    extracts coconut lip balm £2.27
no 7 handbag mirror £5.87 used perkie so 87p
Elegant touch preglued slim tip bare nails reduced to £1 (thought may be handy or DDs can play with them :p)
TS brunette hair bands reduced to £1 (always useful in our house!)
    Total to pay: £5.14

used extracts mag and ACM vouchers
    got another perkie!

    Shop 2
No 7 Intelligent balance Day Fluid oily/combination reduced to £4.53
    used perkie so free
and 250 points voucher from GWP!

    Shop 3
Extracts body butter gift set reduced from £6.68 to £4.56
(couldn't see single minis) so thought try this.
no 7 stay perfect crystal lilac £6.10 used perkie so £1.10
    Total to pay: £5.66
used extracts mag and ACM vouchers
    got another perkie!

Have just smelt the butters and sorry to say the almond one makes me nauseous (almonds and I have an iffy relationship! some things I love (whole almonds) and others make me heave (marzipan)! :o not sure why! ) so will try to swap this for something else if I can.

Am thinking of getting some YSL perfume with my points - Rive Gauche as is £19.08 reduced from £27.89 30ml. Used this in the prime of my life and it brings back lovely memories when I sniff it!
BUT smelt the Elle (GWP when you spend over £30) and thought it too sweet! Now don't know what to do! Seems a pity to miss out on a GWP (can always give as pressie to someone) when I am buying it anyway but will have to top up spend to get GWP so what to do?
Anyone seen a better price for Rive Gauche or a gift set with extras on their travels please?

Am going to try and use up my last 2 perkies on some nail varnish and accessories preferably reduced! ;)
May try to keep one for changeover just in case.

    Happy Bootsing everyone!

    :D
  • To the peeps wanting the artists collection pallet i could prob get a couple more and post if you are desperate.

If you need me to do that please let me know.

Saves paying ebay prices for them,

They are a very good price at £17.50. not sure how much would cost to post though.

Do you know how many perkies i have earnt?? None, thats how good i have been with my bootsing. When i have had to go i have used points.

Even the sands for dinner the other day were reduced. see mr B must realise we need to tighten our belts.
