He's only been on the tablets for 5 days and already his skin is uncomfortably dry, scalp itching and his lips cracking.
Apparently the Riemanns cream only needs to be applied once a day which would be great as I know what he's like about forgetting to top up his sunscreen in the summer months.
With all the things he's going to need I'm wondering if I should ask our GP to prescribe them, I think it's going to cost a small fortune otherwise.
BigBargainBrummy, Is the Sunsense available on prescription?
I'm not sure if this really helps but I tried P20 many years ago as I have very fair skin. I used it abroad and applied it once in the morning as stated but I still got burnt so had to "top up" with other suncreams.
Of course this was abroad and sitting out on and off much of the day so maybe your son won't be using it in the same circumstances. Also, the p20 I used was a liquid and not a cream so it might have changed now anyway.
Sorry if that was no help at all!Started SW 11.1.11

Hi Geordielass.
I'm not sureP20 would be the answer for him. It's strength is that it acts as a sunscreen (Factor 20) all day without having to re apply, even after swimming or sport. Your son might be better off seeing his gp for a sunblock. HTH0 -

Well I have just booked some more for April, so might be doing another open invitation. Oooh, get me. Anyway, I still feel sick, but I WILL go to Boots! It's a must. LOL.0 -

Palmers are on BOGOHP in store at the moment and there are special packs with a freebie attached, I think the cocoa butter has a lip balm and the Olive oil cream has a tube of something, worth keeping an eye out for if you like the range. hth0

curlylocks wrote: »How about using your vouchers for stuff from the No7 mens range, there are a few items there around the £6.40 mark, so would involve a small spend - have a look online and see if there's anything you fancy for the man in your life
wyb the mens No7 for Men Wake-up Facial Wash, or the No7 For Men Energising Face Scrub,
use a perkie, then pay just £1.40 and get 250 points back.:T
The beauty of giving your OH the mens No7 Multi-Task Hair and Body Wash, which will also cost £1.40 after a perkie,
is that he doesn't have to think about what to use as it is an 'all in one' product
(and it will keep his mitts off your stash of premium goodies too!). HTH.
I would get some, but I did this when the Blinkie gave you £5 off, used with the 'magic' 250 points voucher,
so OH has plenty of these items already.;)0 -
Just catching up with the thread, so sorry Mimi, I went to Leeds Boots at lunch but hadn't seen your message
I work in Leeds city centre so often pop in in my lunch hour.
There were loads of the No7 Artists Collection things for £17.XX and also the Eye & Brow Kit for £4.89 I think.
Clearance shelf has moved back upstairs near the doors to the shopping centre and still had quite a bit of Meditarranean stuff, these Sanctuary Sento gift sets for £4.89, and these Dead Sea Source sets also half price I think. Loads of other random bits and bobs I can't remember now
