I've been buying my DD face wash from the clean and clear range and using the acm vouchers for 150 points each, not worth it for the points alone but if you (like me ;) ) have young teens prone to blackheads then it all helps.

    Hi,
at only 10 she doesn't want to be using anything too strong, I would have suggested the BIORE nose pore strips that my (teenaged) DD's sometimes use, but I've tried them and found them so blooming painful to remove that I think it might put off a 10 year old from skin care for life (brought tears to my eyes ) There are other black head products in the range, but have never tried them.
A quite gentle range is the boots expert sensitive range, I use the face wash and it cleans without drying the skin too much, some of those have up to £2 off at the moment.
DD's also use neutrogena visably clear 2 for £5 but IMHO that is really harsh and drying, but they seem to like it

Oh dear, sounds rather stressful! Which sa/till did you go to? I always go to the lovely No 7 girls as they seem quite ok about trying different vouchers etc. Whereas sa's on the other tills always seem to want to "check" .

Were there any handwashes left btw? Might pop in tomorrow.

I used the tills by the front doors...........BIG mistake! The reduced handwashes were by the photo counter opersite the ACM! They had hand moisturiser too & that was 49p too........was tempted to go back but OH say Nooooooooo    :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

    Hey ladies,

Tried to use the £5 voucher on a clearance stickered item today (£2) till beeped and nice SA said 'oh that's weird' and asked a colleague. The colleague said they had stopped letting you use vouchers on reduced stuff. Is this correct? Or does it work if the item is reduced on the till?

Stuck with 2 x £5 no7 vouchers now, which I wanted to use before my baby is born (a week tomorrow!)

Also, I haven't got time to check back to see i this has already been mentioned, but I used a 350pt ACM voucher WYS £35, and you now only get the difference in points including the normal 4 per £1, and not 350 on top of the 4 per £1!

    Hmm.

Oooh Karen Mac, that looks really tempting. Can't get out this afternoon though, drat! Sure another local bootser will be only too happy to snap it up though.;)

Look forward to hearing your reports on your shops...specially since we go to some of the same stores!

Officially the vouchers aren't supposed to be used on clearance items I am afraid. Sometimes though...if you are lucky, a SA puts them through or the till allows it (depends on things like SE label etc I think!). Sure someone else will be able to give you more info.
  • Hi

None of the clearance products worked for me today. Tried lots of different things from foundations, eye creams, make up bags etc even the No7 electrical things.... computer said no for everything!
