    Woohoo!
Just got a confirmation email from Boots that the old mobile phone I sent for recycling has been accepted, even though it was not working! I will get 300 points and £1 is being donated to Breast Cancer Care and the Eve appeal.
So it's worth sorting out any old phones, because even if it is not working, so long as it is on their list, they will pay at least 300 points and donate up to £1 to charity. :j

    Thanks minimoneyme!

I have looked on other phone recycling places for my old handset and found I'd be lucky to get 50p! Boots, however, will give me over 1000 points!

    Also:

Do any of you out there have the No7 Artists Collection thingy? If I bought it mainly for the vanity case itself and not the contents, is it worth it? My make-up bag's too small these days and I'm being let loose with my non-smoking spends this weekend (ie, the money I would have spend on ciggies has been saved up by my OH so I can treat myself to something nice!)

Oh, and... anything exciting in Bristol Broadmead?

Hi all, getting ready to go out today, but I am lacking in enthusiasm, due to the fact that I agree with OP - those Perkies are very restrictive .....

Who remembers Guy Mitchell, Frankie Laine, Lita Rosa, David Whitfield, Ronnie Renalde, Ronnie Carrol and Theresa Brewer!!! ....

    [snipped ...]

    Morning Sandra and all :)
Ohhh, erm - I remember them  Well not all of them thank goodness ;) because I don't think I'd be here :rotfl: but I knew David Whitfield (If a 5 year old can know anyone lol) and you forgot Ronnie Hilton (not surprisingly lol) but I knew him too! (If having a cuppa in his restaurant counts? I was all of 5 then too :D)

I think I've lost my enthusiasm today too Sandra  Even if I thought I could find a No7 Artist's Collection thingy with 75% off - I'm not sure I could be bothered to look. Very strange lol. I might make up some party bags.

Good to see you're ok btw :)

Question to Sandra or anyone please? What's the offer on the Sumptious Bath, if there is one? Tia x

Second Question: How can I unsubscribe and resubscribe to the Health Club?I've tried for the last hour or so and given up lol. Tia for that also x

    Yay for the phone! :j

I've seen exactly the same (well, to my eyes) No.7 artists make-up set without the make-up, being sold as a vanity case, in the accessories section for £17.** It looks nice and roomy andy quite sturdy. So if you can get it with the make-up as well it is a nice extra. hth

I was just about to post the same minimoneyme. They're good value at that price, imo, and I've seen them empty at that price too :) Really sturdy as you said.

ooo forgot, empty your basket of healthclub items before you log out, then put them back in after you've rejoined. I think it works better that way, might be a good idea to get rid of your boots cookies as well. hth

:rotfl: I only copied and pasted it :o :rotfl: ;) But have another tissue lol.

geordie_lass - Thanks for those posts :D As funny now as they were when it happened :)

Re the Just For Men. Erm guilty too :o lol. Bought a couple of boxes for a couple of lads that are celebrating their 21st birthdays this year. And some oil for Bald Heads :D

Talking of which, I hope you had a great birthday msmoo xxx

Edit: Ooooh, I didn't see the connection between bald heads, just for men, and your 21st, so apologies for that LOL.
    :D Thankyou, I had a lovely birthday. :)

  • Hi everyone
My parcel id is not being recognised on the parcelline site, is this is a common problem for boots orders? :)
