Just had a quick look back, and noticed peeps mentioning the 250 points.
I'm not sure where I got my 250 points voucher from - as in a GWP or a No7 set in the Christmas items, but it worked today on reduced No7 Stay Perfect Foundation.
But then again - another store 100 yards away would only take the perkie on the same foundation if it was £14 ..! As ifSo I'm not surprised that there's some confusion. I'd normally say "hth" but I doubt it will :rotfl:
On the No 7 250pts vouchers. The one that is for skincare only (including mens) comes from the present GWP. hth
The ones that are valid on any No 7 come from the Christmas/sale items~ What goes around comes around ~0 -
Happy Birthday HOGSHEAD.
Tomorrow it's my 1 year anniversary of Bootsing / nephews 1st birthday / 1 year since Dad was diagnosed with cancer (he has started eating again, and seems to be on the road to recovery (thank you Lord!))/ 1 year since Sister's breakdown. I don't know if I should be celebrating or hiding in a corner and feeling sorry for myself. Having deliberated for a few hours, instead of feeling sorry for myself and dwelling on all the hardships, I've decided to let my hair down and spend lots of money at Boots on stuff I will probably never use and buy lots of new clothes!
I can still remember being a complete newbie a year ago with my £1.49 worth of points on my AC card. I wouldn't even dare post. I just came on and took note of all the bargains people were writing about. Take a look at me now with my £165 worth of points, I'm like a proper Boots bargain hunter, I know exactly where to look for clearance sections and reduced SEL's. Go me! Thanks to everyone for welcoming me on here, especially Pash, Pollsdolls, Melgirl, Babafette, Angie100, (I've probably missed a few others out, but my mind is all over the place at the moment) everyone that has sent me supportive pm's recently and everyone else for listening to me waffle on about my woes and bargains on the forum.
On a side not, if anyone is suffering from any form of hardships, be it personal or family related, NEVER let it beat you. It will get you down, but keep battling it and you will win. The last year has been hell for me and everyone else in my family, but we all got through it. You may cry for weeks on end, but you bloody well can get through it! (A bit of Bootsing on the side always helps too: cheap presents and lots of points! I've just walked into Boots, left my worries and bullish at the door, and just indulged in mindless shopping. It seriously helps!) If anyone has any problems and want to get it off their chest, by all means pm me. I won't be able to fly down like Superman and save you, but I can sit and listen and be there at the end of the computer.
Thanks everyone. Keep up the posting. Keep up the Bootsing. Lots of love and happiness to one and all.0 -

Well done on the lip balm, that is reduced to £2.5x by me
And whats with the ovulation thingy? Are you going for the Guiness Book of records, or is there something you need to tell us
You did well coming back with more perkies than you went out with, as its a great excuse to have to go back to Boots......again;)
What am I like? Old I think :rotfl: Polls, after oh and myself both received a hefty tax bill each (can't complain - I must have had the money to pay the tax on) it was meant to be a moneysaving day today
I'll no doubt go back to use up the remaining ones and spend even more
:rotfl:
The lip balm seemed good to me (besides the price) because they're so tiny aren't they?

I much prefer the SA's on the SS till in Bond St London so I think a cheap coach fare needs to be found!!
National Express do coach tickets from various cities to London Victoria from £1 single ..... come on girls we can all meet up with SS for a Bootsing workshop!
:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
(just joking SS - don't mean to put you on the spot!)
Actually Sandra, combine it it with your Freedom pass or whatever it is called and you can visit Boots all over the country for peanuts! (or anyone else for that matter!):j
And combined with cheap restaurant deals, cheap theatre tickets and Bootsing - WOW! Just need some good hotel or B&B deals to make a short break or holiday! :money: :money: :money:

Thank you Mimi for that, I too spend many an hour reading everyones Boots posts, have picked up a few items, but still too scared to try GWP freebies etc, I will no longer hide in the shadows just reading, but will try hard to contribute to the board.
I am also having a had time atm, my step father has been diagnoised with terminal throat cancer, my best friend from childhood is recovering from breast cancer and her brother is now having treatment in Canada (very expensive) for stomach cancer (they are both in their early 40's) It makes things slightly more bearable to know that you are not suffering alone and the lovely people on this forum are willing to open their hearts and help you through it.
I wish you all the luck for the future and much love xxxxxxx0 -

Hiya,
Not noticed any vichy but I did get samples of La Roche-posay. This was at Glasgow Fort, beside the face/skin analysis thing. Think you may have to get skin analysis done but as other poster (Thank u) said on here you could take to till and say SA wasn't around and you would love to try the products? Had voucher inside for free hand cream when you buy full size product of La Roche-Posay.

WBx;)
Sorry balletshoes I have just repeated what you said already.:oxx0 -

I agree. I too have just got through a bad year and am having money problems but a bit of Boots really does help. I know I wont use it all and like lots of us just like to look at it all but as I say to my family I could have much worst habits. Happy Bootsing all!!0 -
Couldn't find anything I really wanted or needed on my brief shop today but did buy OH a new razor.....I think I was supposed to buy gifts for me so lots of birthday money burning a hole in my pocket.
I did check the ACM though, lots of offers there for me.
Happy birthday Hogshead.
Go spend some of that money on yourself.
You need and deserve it. Take care x :T :T~ What goes around comes around ~0
