Not in all branches - they were still full priced yesterday in Maidstone, I got them price-checked

I bought 4 yesterday all in different branches in the Edinburgh area and they all scanned at £5. I find it strange that Boots tills can charge different amounts in different stores as they are all linked to the main computer.

They were all on the normal No7 counter and not on a reduced counter. HTH

. Fruitless search for the Origins freebie too.

I saw the No7 reduced stand at Sedley but thought as it had 6.60 on clearance sticker it wouldn't scan at 3.63? Anyway, got the Stay Perfect foundation (3.63) and compacts (3.30) from Bond St - which didn't have any reduced notices up.

Did you see the Extracts Minis at Sedley??? The next display up from the toothbrushes and soaps. DD wanted the Shea Butter (not offered in minis) so bought her full size plus bonus points from ACM and HB. Then bought a mini plus bonus ACM and HB points.

hiya:D I didn't look for the extracts stuff TBH. I have no idea if they stock it. Well done for getting the foundations for £3.xx:T I paid double that the other day:rolleyes: I see passion8 did too. Oh well, I can't complain. I've had loads of No7 stuff for next to nothing this week. Really pleased with my lovely bargains:j

The perkies are so much better than those horrid winkies, don't you think? This is for Mr B:iloveyou: just don't bring those winkies back any time soon. I don't like them;)

Hi Mimi, I am pleased that your dad is back home. Just being there will aid his recovery.

He is in a bad place right now, and is fighting a battle that no-one wants to fight. But if the loving and caring of his family can make him well, he has so much going for him. I would be so proud to call you son.

We can't help your dad, but you are surrounded by well wishers here, and that I hope is helping you. A persons Cancer affects all family and extends to friends.

It may only be your dad fighting the illness but all of you are fighting the cancer with him.

A terrible disease which puts things into perspective, when it touches you.

Do whatever it takes to get you through your dads illness. I have seen Cancer from both sides, losing my own Mother to Cancer and also watching my family suffer for me. Neither of those roles are easy to bear.

You know how I feel, but its not coming out right at the moment. :heart2:

These were on the normal No7 counter, too.

Mind you, our branch misses out on a lot of reductions that other stores get - the Gilette Fusion set in the silver bag, for example - they remain at full price. Also an SA told me they have got putting sets in the store room, but are not permitted to put them out

Angel that sounds like a lovely idea. I used to be a teacher before I had my little boy and I would have loved to receive a pamper set. What you have suggested already sounds enough. Maybe put in some intensive hair treatments, nail files etc

Thank you. I normally PM Mimi. But seeing the messages tonight made me realise that never replying here made it looks like I don't care.

Hi Angel :D I only asked because I'm making up quite a few party bags (although not for teachers ;)) and even I was surprised at some of the little bargains that can be added to small hampers or gift bags. These are for teens, but so far I've added:

Frizz Ease serum - free (I know we pay indirectly, but forget that lol)
Pantene sachet - free (ish ;))
Disposable camera - 75p but can be cheaper with bogof
Brag books for the pictures - 75p for 2 (I think)
Nail varnishes from GWP's (not strictly free :D)
    Nail varnish remover - 25p (75% off)
    NC strawberry soap - 49p (75% off)
    Tweezers - 47p
    Boots patterned compact mirror - 41p or 61p, I forget ;) (75% off)
Bourgouis pencil sharpener (free with a voucher from last year)
etc etc, and I haven't finished yet  I need big bags :rotfl:
