And some are quicker than others at learning ;) I've only ever understood the multi-quote thing when a poster called glidergirl explained it, but she seems to have disappeared  (It's not your fault btw balletshoes :) - it's just that I can't seem to copy a quote to carry forward to another quote, if that makes sense? :D)

    Still off-topic :o

Is anyone else seeing Martin's header on pollsdolls post?
Polls post looks fine to me:D

Managed to ue some Extracts ACM & mag vouchers today getting tidy 900points, wished I had noticed that No7 voucher knocks off total spend though if No7 comes to less than £5 though:o as put everything through as separate tansactions so as not to confuse myself:rolleyes:

The ACM Voucher is for the New Extracts Bathing Range so I don't think it will work on lipbalm.

    Thanks AM x

Bellydancer - when I followed Liverbird's advice re the 40 posts per page, I also ticked the box to view avatars as there was something I wanted to see. I've unticked it now, and pollsdoll's post looks fine now, so thanks again :)

I've seen a few people post that they've bought mobile top ups from Boots, and haven't really paid attention as I've never had a PAYG phone until now.

Could anyone please tell me if Boots sell top ups for 3 Mobile phones?

Hi Mimi, I am pleased that your dad is back home. Just being there will aid his recovery.

He is in a bad place right now, and is fighting a battle that no-one wants to fight. But if the loving and caring of his family can make him well, he has so much going for him. I would be so proud to call you son.

We can't help your dad, but you are surrounded by well wishers here, and that I hope is helping you. A persons Cancer affects all family and extends to friends.

It may only be your dad fighting the illness but all of you are fighting the cancer with him.

A terrible disease which puts things into perspective, when it touches you.

Do whatever it takes to get you through your dads illness. I have seen Cancer from both sides, losing my own Mother to Cancer and also watching my family suffer for me. Neither of those roles are easy to bear.

You know how I feel, but its not coming out right at the moment. :heart2:

POLLSDOLLS thanks so much for the above post. Totally agree with everything you have said. We are all doing everything we can to try and help him through this. In fact, I've even gone part time properly to stay at home and help out as much as I can. I'm loving all the support and advice I am getting on here, and thank the Lord they are allowing a bit of chat on here.

Thanks to all the other ladies as well that have pm'd me. I find it strange that people seem to diss each other on the forums, but deep down you all seem like absolutely lovely people. I'm sure people have off days and sometimes lash out, but you are all adorable.

Take care all and thanks again for everything.

some of you and your snide little remarks like this are exactly why half these argument start in the first place, sandra im sorry but if youve got something to say at least have the common decency to pm me and say rather than spread snide posts all ova the board and keep refering to post i and others have made on refugees. you dont even post over there so how u feel u can comment ona situation you havent been party to for a while is beyond me and fankly im sick of it

I feel a bit loathe to respond to this post as from what I've witnessed recently it just seems to end up in a never ending merry go round of arguing. However, I have been unable to fight the urge to post as I truly feel that it is a bit rich of you to accuse SandraScarlett of snide little remarks considering this post by you QUOTE: were much nicer over here, chat about anything you like we dnt care :) and also the post that SS referred to (not sure if it was yours but it seems it may have been) SNIPPED: Someone said on "The Board Formerly Known As Refugees" words to the effect that they had more important things in their life to worry about than how to get the cheapest shampoo. Have to say that when I read the original post with that in (not SS's one) I was a bit taken aback and IMO it was most definitely a 'snide little remark' referring to us 'grabbits' in a pretty disdainful way. I had posted for the first time last nite on the 'Chat' thread but in hindsight & thinking about it I don't think I feel very comfortable over there so will remain on Grabbit where there doesn't appear to be all this arguing & negative tones when referring to 'Refugees thread' as there is from the Refugees when referring to 'Grabbit'.

I also think that in one of your posts you said something along the lines of if you can't say anything nice don't say anything at all and in another asking why someone didn't PM an individual if there was an issue - I could ask you the same question when you read SS's post - IMO maybe it would have been wiser to take your own advice & PM her as all you've now achieved is setting an argumentative tone to this thread.

I hope we can just get on with the task in hand & quite frankly in these difficult times that is having fun hunting down a bargain - truly not such a crime & if we find some 'cheap shampoo' along the way who are we to refuse. :D:D:D
