Ohhh - nearly forgot to say that I tried to get another Origins Scrub today but all gone!!!

But thanks to minimoneyme, I booked a free Origins mini facial for next Friday the 13th - only realised the date when I got home lol!!!! Met a lady there also trying for the free scrub who said she had seen it on MSE!!! Told her about the facial so hopefully she booked one as well!!

Also on clearance in Bristol Broadmead today there were some NC beany neck pillows for £1.61, lots of toothbrushes for 69p, some Skin Doctor products, tights and the usual sun tan lotions that have been on the shelf for yonks and are still overpriced!!!!

well my take on the no7 compacts, went to norwich today, chapelfield sel was 3.xx bought two with perkie. When in castle mall sell was same price, but sa saw me looking and ripped it off in front off me, which i thought was strange. I got another perkie, went back to chapelfield to get two more, sell had gone. Got in ss queue, all being used so sa called me over, asked if i had two vouchers, i was like err no. They scanned at the 3.xx price and she went to get a "key" to overide to the 6.xx price said they were reduced but not to that much. I said to another sa, cant i just pay at ss, u wouldnt know im only paying the 3.xx cause that what they scan at. I saw there was a written note in front of the till about them... Only allowed one in end for the 6.xx price. Boo! So looks like it is a mistake.

To be fair though, if they've been specifically told they can't knowingly sell the product at £3.xx, and they're aware of it, they can't really do anything else can they? They have to charge what they have been told to charge.

Otherwise they could be in trouble with their managers. As a shop assistant, you really just have to do what you're told don't you.

Thats why, in situations like these, I'm glad there are SS tills around.

picked up the wrong color, would like to exchange or refund. but see the back of the receipt, boots will not accept returned cosmetics? Anyone know if it is refundable? thanks.

yminger - they might exchange if product is unopened/sealed - I was lucky enough to get a lipstick changed recently, but it was sealed in plastic, so obvious that I hadn't used it in any way. HTH

If the item is sealed then you ought to be able to get an exchange.
Just explain to the SA that you picked up the wrong colour by mistake and would like to change it.
If you have opened the product then you would be unable to do so. HTH.
