    from offer site:
Vehicles will be delivered to the nominated address by an Avis representative between 15:00 and 17:00 on Monday and Wednesday or 14:00 and 16:00 on Friday (for weekend test drive).

Vehicles will be collected from the same nominated address by an Avis representative between 15:00 and 17:00 on Tuesday and Thursday or 09:00 and 10:30 on Monday.

follow the steps through and select friday commencement.

Why is this a good deal? I'm sorry if I'm being thick but why would you need it for a weekend away? Surely you just use your own car? I'm sure I'll understand soon :)

well we don't have a car are going away for a weekend so would hire a car - therefor free car saves us the £60 odd quid it would cost us to hire one .

I booked a 24 hour test drive of the new Laguna last year through Avis. I was told that it came with a full tank of fuel and if it was picked up with a full tank then no charge would be made, I filled the tank up the night before they picked the car up, thinking that was the end but it was not. when i received my card statement it was showing that Avis had charged my card with £35 the day before they picked car up. BE WARNED. It took me 3 weeks to get payment back from Renault,

Why use your own car when you can use someone elses for free?! Wear and tear all adds up on a car so using a free one just saves more wear and tear on your own...... PLUS how else are most of us going to get to drive a brand new car?!?!?

you may find they take a fuel deposit - the cost of a full tank of fuel from your card and refund it once they have the car back with a full tank - thats avis's normal practice and it usually take up to a week for the money to go back .
