It's 4.30 and I'm starting to get sleepy - not good! I'm sure I'll miraculously wake up as soon as I leave my work desk :p

All this talk of food is making me sad I don't have time to cook right now - but Wednesday (aside from my evil essay) I don't have anything to do until 3, so might have to make a nice OS stew :D

hugs to anybody in need of one

This is the quilt I have been trying to get at for the past few weeks.

OH has been fine all day today. We went for a walk this morning and saw 2 houses for let, I have put in a request to view them......OH seems as if he has been thinking things through as well.....I was quite suprised when he told me to have a look on the internet and see what they were like.

Spent the afternoon sewing....tomorrow I must go to the allotment come what may.....I need to get the leeks and brussels out and spread manure on the rhubarb before I put the dustbin over it to force it.

Will be knitting tonight whilst I watch LRTC................

Hi, This is the first time I have written on this specific post.

Have enjoyed reading other people's posts though.

Today has been relatively busy but has definitely helped with the weather being so nice and sunny, always puts me in a positive mood. I have done three loads of washing and put out on the line, love it when washing dries quickly!!! Also made flapjacks, victoria sponge, filling for sandwiches tomorrow, cooking tea and going to make some bread. Also have completed some work related documents, took dog for walk and been food shopping. Still can think of other things I need to do such as ironing, clean bathroom etc - list is always never ending!!

Hope everyone else has had a good day.

csarina the quilt looks fantastic ( the pic is very small so cant see too much detail) you must have a lot of patience to do that.

we are having our usual weekend fall out. the kids start winding each other up and get louder and louder. OH is trying to watch tele and gets all bad tempered because he cant hear the tele. oh its fantastic here
i'm off for a bath - thank goodness for lockable bathroom doors :D

Hi all, where has the day gone? Admittedly we did get up late due to a late night, went watching our friends son in his band, they were on last so it dragged on.Taxi brought us home for about 1.30-it prob should have taken 10 mins longer than that, but the driver went so fast i was petrified,he was driving right up to the rear of a young girl and pipping his horn.We won't be using that firm again.

We went to the footie this aft and we won so that was good.I put the slow cooker on with beef, carrots, celery and leeks, and made some mash and dumplings when we got home, and choc muffins for after.I'm just going to tidy round in the kitchen and then settle down to watch television.

Mioliere,I am very envious of your move to France for a while.Hubby did a job renovating a barn in the Charente region some years ago ,for some friends of ours and I got to go and stay there twice,it was lovely. We had chance to buy a small (wrecked)place in the same village but didnt pursue it,and now its been done up and is lovely. It went for peanuts at the time, but DH was too busy with work at home to go over for an extended time.

Hugs to anyone who needs one.
