I have some frozen spinach portions, and was wondering if anyone had some suggestions for what to do with it?

I defrost a couple of spinach potions in the microwave and add it to my pasta bake surprise, the one in which I chuck anything I have lying around (onions, peppers, courgette, sweetcorn, mushrooms, bacon, leftover chicken etc) in a pan to saute off, then put in the oven with some cooked pasta, can of chopped toms, bit of red pesto, garlic and S&P. It's my fridge clearing dish :D

Hello all!! I'm ready for March - bring it on!!! :T

Last month was my first grocery challenge and I was only £2+ over my budget. I'm going for a budget of £200 in March; but am trying a different tack this month.

Rather than plan a weeks meals at a time round a weekly budget, I'm trying 2 large supermarket shops a month, with a bit of leeway for nipping to the local Coop for bits and pieces, which is where I came unstuck last month.

I've got my 2 weekly meal plan sorted and stuck to the fridge, a Mr Sainsbugs shopping arriving tonight and a freezer to fill!!

My OH wolfs it downs in record time and often requests it. I have to put him off it when I don't have any carp in the fridge :rotfl: .

This is only my third month on the GC but I feel very at home with all you long time Old Stylers. To all the new joiners (there are lots already this month!!) come and join us, keep reading and posting and you will make a whole new lot of friends :D . MrsM keeps us organized :A so all you need to do is just do it!!

A NSD day today for me (cos I'm not in work:o ) Very old style day too. Leftover veg soup for lunch, HM mushroom soup followed by leftover chicken, salad and potatoes for dinner. Salmon on the menu tomorrow so will cook enough pots for two meals and reheat in the MW.

MrsM and GLLT those pasta bakes sound yummy. Maybe I'll try (only just got OH to eat pasta (he'd never tried it so he didn't like it  ) but he'll now eat spag bol and loves lasagne.
