Free 26 piece PC Toolkit

Mine arrived safely yesterday less than 2 weeks after I subscribed.

Opened mine last night, within 10 mins it was broken. The little magnet inside the socket set handle had broken in half and fell out. Oh well. Can't complain, I still got some free screwdrivers, long nose pliers and wire cutters

Yeah, the rest of it will break as soon as you try to use as well, the whole thing is junk

I wasn't expecting much because it was free after all, but when I opened the package and looked at it this morning I nearly wet myself laughing. Give it to the kids as a toy, don't let these "tools" near anything important that you actually need to work on.

got my first mag through this morning but still no sign of the tool kit got this by email from them which took a week for them to reply to

the tool box has been allocated to your account and will be sent out shortly. Our supplies have been exhausted but one will be sent out to you as soon as we get some more in.

this has surprised me as on this thread some have been ordering and getting this week im still waiting and its nearly 4 weeks now so i deceided to cancel the direct debit they have set up and sod the tool kit ..

Yep had my first mag thru today aswell theyve not taken the Direct Debit yet either

And Im also still waiting for the Toykit ....

got my mag today, no tool kit yet. the mag is quite interesting and the dvd looks impressive, not much you can't get on the web anyway but not a bad package. however, i installed a few programs which should've caused no problems and it completely messed my pc up to the point it would boot but freeze during windows set up. got so bad that i had to enter in safe mode and uninstall the following programs, which may not have all been the culprits but something certainly wasn't playing fair, maybe it's a SP2 thing i don't know: roxio photosuite, filtergate (this even blocked my task manager, so that was the first thing to go as it was booting up), get right and get right for mozilla, kaspersky anti virus (which i think was the main culprit for me), tclockex and one more thing which i still have on the pc, advanced win optimiser.

just beware, the software should all be fine but for some reason something didn't like my pc and i don't normally get any grief at all.

shame really. i'm gonna watch the 50 min Robosapiens documentary though 8)

Add me to the "got the mag, waiting for the toolkit" pile...

I too ordered quite a while ago, so it doesn't seem to have been a 1st come 1st served kind of things....

On a possible + side they may send us out a different toolkit or even something completely different (eternally hopeful it'll be better)

I like the mag though, brought out the "inner geek"!

Got my toolkit a week ago and the 1st mag yesterday. I happen to think the toolkit is quite useful. Just used it to movel a PCI card from one computer to another. Perfect for the job.

i cancelled my direct debit after waiting five weeks for the toolkit and getting the mag .. they promised me a toolkit by email and i got fed up waiting so i didnt want them taking out anymore than they should do on the direct debit situation.. ie. the full price instead of the £1 if they insist on the £1 i will send by cheque

Received the mag' yesterday (got the tookit last week - very handy) - It came with a leaflet that gives you a web site called https://www.subsinfo.co.uk - When I put in my code which came with the leaflet, it gave me all of my details - next payment, how to cancel and any problems with the disc, etc. Hopefully I won't forget to cancel my DD .
