As a regular subscriber to these 3 issues for £1 offers from Dennis publications all I can say is they are great. You get 3 interesting mags which I share around my mates and then on return donate them to Doctors, dentists and others waiting rooms when passing.

The Direct debit is easy to cancel and the staff never make you feel embarrassed when you cancel. They often ask why for their own research a polite non commital answer will work just as well as I only got it for the freebie.

I must have had between 15 - 20 different sets of PC or motoring mags over the years often with a good freebie and I am alwys amazed when they accept another from me.

This type of ploy also allows you to subscribe to Which magazine for 3 months at a time when they offer trial subs with the 250K prize draw as the hook to get you in. But cancel the DD in time and its free.

steeev as above the Terms & Conditions require you to contact them to cancel the subscription - just cancelling the dd may lead to them chasing you up + they are likely to continue sending you the mags.

well that hasnt happened to me so far, apparently when you cancel the DD, the bank sends a message to the publisher telling them that the dd has been cancelled, which saves you the effort of contacting them yourself.

Subscribed last week and got the toolkit today. Terms & conditions are clear as you are required to cancel your subscription within two weeks of receiving your 3rd mag. If you cancelled after 2 weeks how are they being sneaky?

Whats sneaky is that they never sent me the toolkit or any free issues and just charged me £19.99!!!
