Just to say night all, I will probably work for another hour or so, then off to bed...

Sally, hope your day at work was not too tiring. Your research question sounds good. At a later (dissertation) stage, you may want to aim at a more general (broad) question to give you more flexibility (e.g. social and economical backgrounds that may lead to DV) then probably have your topic as a sub-question...You would have worked on it thoroughly).

Good luck with whatever you choose, just start writing (jot down any thoughts, etc and these do not have to be in a perfect form from the start). The key is to keep revising your paper..(you will improve it every time you re-read it).

Hiya everyone still awake!!
My day was good today thanks nonamewoman!xxx:D
Learned alot about the real world, how c**p the council are with budgets...they are so good at wasting thousands/millions on meaningless bits of "art," statues, shops, investigations, assessments, etc, and then say they haven't got enough money, and have to close organisations that people actually need!:mad: :eek:
Im only a student at this place, but today a proper paid employee got an email saying she was going to be made redundant!
I mean no warning or anything...can't believe they can treat people like that!

Anyway, I've decided im doing assignment on forced marriages and domestic violence.

Going to do interviews over questionnaires, as i think they're better given the sensitivity of the topic!!
BUT, this is actually a plan, so i'm not actually gonna interview anyone iykwim!

Got a block on what research qustion to do!:mad:
