everything seems to be going backwards - todays kick was a call from insurance company about a tiny little nudge that happened in the snow 2 months back - in all the confusion, i thought we wre sorting it out without insurance coompanies being involved, but seems not! more ££s gone
not sure how thats going to affect the move to admiral multicar policy next month
feeling very down about it all now, probably made worse by being back at the much hated work -redunancy could be an option, but the payout won't be enough......its just wishful thinking, I'm stuck there!

must pull myself together, things could be worse.......am healthy, so is family & kitty, have roof over head & food in cupboards.......

list of things to do this evening (split down to easy things to make me feel better)
    • eat!
    • load dishwasher & put it on
    • empty dishwasher when done
    • take photos for ebay
    • list minimum of 3 items on ebay
    • update spreadsheets
    • strip beds
    • white wash
That'll do, ebay will take long enough!

think this debt free & tidy journey will be made in baby steps!

I love lists - I have them for everythiing...lists of what lists I need at times....& they work, to a point.
Having posted my list of jobs to do last night.....hey presto all but one got done & that was purely down to timing - dishwasher didnt finish before I needed to sleep!!!
    Go me (for once)
I know have 4 items on ebay, just hope people want them...but preferably not at the price of 99p for a 3 peice-suite!!!!! maybe I should have put a reserve on that!!!

Going to pop ketttle on on plan new list for tonight...

Thank you ! that means a lot coming from you Flying_Fresian as you are my inspiration!:A
Last night turned into a snuggle on sofa - much nicer than housework

The biggest of me eBay items has a bid so thats good news, another has 6 watchers so am hoping for a bidding war - its also a good incentive to get me looking for more stuff to go - although everytime I put stuff on ebay I get addicted to checking for progress - any excuse not to do something useful! (no change to bids since started typing)

£4.25 cheque from music magpie into BoM&D acc - plus 75p as I like to keep the balance @ nice round £s. Got 2 more bundles ready to go - that will be walk to post office @ lunchtime on Tuesday.

Tomorrow is a day out with Ma, hope to keep spends down on that.
At work Saturday & I WILL take my lunch with me (generally start off with good intentions & then get lazy - yet I always do pack up for OH.....)
Sunday Monday will be completion of the living room project, & then it will be time to start te next one....Kitchen? Shed? Computer Room/Boys Room?? so much to do...not sure where to start......

Grocery budget will be put under serious stress this weekend - OH is in charge!! I'll send him with a list of course, & instructions NOT to deviate.....only time will tell how that works out....

Happy Easter People of the Internet!

    Lucy

    again!
ok, last few days......spent money @ Ideal Home Exhibition, tried very hard not to, walked away several times....could have spent loads more though, so could be worse!
Think that despite OH doing the weekly shop we may just about be on target again this month
3 items sold on eBay for peanuts, but it all helps, 4th item finishes Friday night but doesnt look like it will go
Should have spent £1.50 on parking today but found a freeby space, that money went to pay off debts - I know, last of the big spenders!
did have to buy loaf of bread but resisted the temptation for ready meal in favour of jacket spud.

    jobs for this evening
    empty dishwasher
    update work spreadsheets
    update debt spreadsheets
phone sky & try n haggle price down
    finish ironing
start shopping list for weekend - start of the month come round too often!
& work out how to add signature - more motivation I hope!

Okies, first one - there's not a lot you can do, but I know that some people have more problems than others with losing posts on the forum. You could always type out the text of your (long) posts in MS Word or a notepad document and then copy and paste into MSE, that way if you lose your post you won't have that  feeling!
