mmm staying on track could be the tricky bit!!!

having a minor argument with the building society (new way of referring to ex-employer...sounds better I think!!)
Terms of staff mortgage stated that it reverts to specific scheme if you leave....that particular scheme is no longer available as it was costing them lots, so new staff mortgages revert to different less costly scheme (more cost to borrower)..... & thats the one they've put me on - I phoned to query it & they couldnt find any mention of the original scheme...cue me saying I have cope of terms & conditions, would you like it sending over!?

Am hoping that will be sufficient & they won't find something else that cancels out my original T&C........the difference is about £100 a month .... even though I've allowed a higher mortgage payment for budget purposes I want to be able to make overpayments while the rates are low!

Question I have now.....can i stay on DFW boards instead of venturing to Mortgage Free? I like it here.......

Thank you for say I can stay here!

I did have a quick look @ mortgage free board, but thats really way out of my league - firdt thing first is to adjust to new low pay & continue with lesson of how to live within means!!!
stuggling a bit with period pain but touch its beenwalk in park so far....
need to get on with sorting out the loft ready for extra insulation being put in next week which is sort of money saving...long term anyway!

Have filled a charity bag with clothes - don't usually bother, but its an RSPCA one with cuties on the front so felt would be letting them down if I just binned it - small declutter yay me!

  • Every step is a step closer to your dreams and goals. Well done on the decluttering. We have some SERIOUS goods to move on - loads of clothes and clutter that I must sell online or at a boot sale or something.

Need to pay of the MBNA card really quickly.

get listing on ebay then GG!!

we were planning car boot sale for this weekend but OH not really fit enough so new plan is that I will spend the next 2 weeks having sort out, & we'll car boot on 9th August so if the weather is ok I could start new job with sunburn!

Have won the battle with lender, mortgage paymennt £91 less than they originally wanted - will leave budgetted figure the same & pay the difference to savings account & make capital repayment towards end of year

Will do some major 'lists' over weekend & see how much I can get done in 2 weeks

ok, well Saturdays weigh in was disappointing - stayed the same, but I can blame that on the KFC, chippy & cream cakes I consumed towards the end of the week!!
the rest of the weekend disappeared with very little acheived - the ironing is done though

today I start the mammoth clearing up session
& I am tackling our bedroom.....& in true me style, am putting it off!!!

today has started quite well - had to go to JC for weekly visit (one more to go) paid 50p for parking & found 50p in the machine...free parking, woohoo
Then as its an additional visit, got to claim expenses...a whopping £1.30!!!!! now, I know I shouldn't have, but I treated me to brekkie with it, yum yum

got on ok yesterday with the start of spring clean - started on our bedroom - cleaned windows, under the bed & chests of drawers, cleaned the window frames, hoovered the bed, remade that, washed the curtains...twice - got them dried, started to iron them & the iron spuewed out mucky water, hate it when that happens & the curtains are white!!!!
    they back outside drying now.
just got a couple more little bits to finish in there & its done

Taking mum out for lunch, shes had some bad news (expected, but still sad) so needs hug

Milkman bill was under my estimate so the huge extra of 1.08 will go into my capital repayment fund! last of the big spenders!!

& I've already run out of ooomph on the tidying!!!!
got stuck - trying to reorganise bedroom a bit so that i no longer need a small set of leather look drawers - the make the place look messy even when tidy...BUT now have nowhere to put hairdryer or straighteners, figured there must be something to hold both that can be attched to wall.......until I find it, am a bit stuck

am soooooo hungry too which isn't helping, salad for lunch was ok.....theres chocolate in the fridge which is calling me...but I musn't

nothing to report on £s or pennies, things are slowly making their way into the car boot pile........too slowly is all I can say
