Blooming hell! Long time since anyones posted in here. Normally there's virtually daily posts. What's up MKers?? :rotfl:
Anyway, to my question:
I was wondering if anyone knew anywhere around the MK area that has a nice view. Ideally, I'm after somewhere I can park my car up, sit in the car and read a book. Alternatively somewhere me and the girlfriend could go walking and see a nice view.
She is from near the New Forest, and down there there's lots of lovely views. Yet here there seems to be nothing as we're so flatShe's a country girl and she's missing the countryside :rotfl:
I'm just after somewhere I could go and sit for an hour on my lunch break and read my book

hi Gaz, I don't think you can beat the view of MK from the Brickhills. If you go up Church Road http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=bow+brickhill&sll=53.800651,-4.064941&sspn=15.089889,33.881836&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=Bow+Brickhill,+Milton+Keynes,+Buckinghamshire,+United+Kingdom&ll=52.000683,-0.677934&spn=0.007662,0.016544&t=h&z=16, turn the car round once you're at the top, and drive back down, you get a wonderful view, it's like looking out over the sea - and doubly spectacular at night with all the lights twinkling. I don't think there's anywhere you can park and see the same sight, but you can also park up in the woods and go for a walk in the conifer forest. Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.0

Just found another nice place for just sitting and reading - H7 chaffron way/junction with Newport Road - http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=Chaffron+Way,+Milton+Keynes&sll=53.800651,-4.064941&sspn=9.167302,28.256836&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=Chaffron+Way,+Milton+Keynes+MK10+9,+United+Kingdom&ll=52.034145,-0.726171&spn=0.00932,0.027595&t=h&z=15 There's a little car park for the Ouzel Valley park, you can park up facing the park and watch the wildlife, ducks on the pond and the grazing sheep if that's your thing......Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.0

Hi all
I would love to go to this years 'summer Xs' concert at the national bowl but I cant find any info on it. I am desperate to know when it is, ticket prices and how to get them.
I've missed the last few years and would love to go this time around.
Can anyone point me in the right direction? I've tried the council website, the bowl website, and many ticket offices but so far no luck
Thanks in advance0
