Coming up to stay in MK - normally stay in a hotel but this time in the Travelodge! All my kids enjoy swimming and wondered where there is a good (and cheap!) pool in MK we could use?

It's been a while since I've been swimming in Milton Keynes, but there are a few pools to choose from, depending if you want to "swim or splash"!
Stantonbury Leisure Centre has a rectangular swimming pool.
Woughton Leisure Centre has a smaller rectangular swimming pool.
Bletchley Leisure centre has a "leisure" pool. There used to be a flume thingy here but it's just been renovayed so not sure if that's still there or not.
Also worth considering IMO....
Buckingham (Swan) pool. A leisure pool with a flume. Might be worth ringing these as I seem to recall that at certain times they put a big inflatable slide etc into the water.
Towcester - again they have a flume, inflatable stuff plus a wave machine.
My kids used to love Hemel pool. A bit away, but loads there.

The new Bletchley pool is great for swimming but dull for kids, no flumes, slides etc.:j Go on, shake your money maker! :j0

Hello peoples,
I'm after a recommendation for a seamstress/dressmaker. I've Googled and found some local, but I'd rather have someone recommended to me. I need some additions to a dress (sparkles, that sort of thing). Thanks in advance!0 -
Just found a link for 2 for 1 Pizza at lunchtime at Strada in The Hub. I can't post a link as the forum doesn't allow it but it's available on The Hubs website- google is your friend.
I think the food here (especially the pizza) is great, so definitely worth a go if you work around there.0 -
Hi
I need to get a new door for our garage. Can anyone recommend a company in the area that will supply and fit. Have found various names and numbers on the net but would prefer to use a recommendation.
Thanks0 -
We used John Briars. Not the cheapest by a long stretch but I was very pleased with the work and they were very tidy and cleaned up after themselves. I would attempt a negotiation on price if I had to use them again, however...0
