It is called splash zone. It's not a swimming pool, it's like a wacky warehouse with water. We went the other week and the kids loved it, can get quite noisy though! here's the link - http://www.gulliversfun.co.uk/gullivers.php?parkname=Milton_Keynes&pagename=SplashZone_MiltonKeynes

Nat -do adults need to be wearing swim wear? I'd be taking a 7, 6 and 2 year old. How wet would I get if I needed to retrieve the little one!!

    Hi,

I have a 2 year old sofa leather sofa and one side has collapsed. I'm guessing it just needs the internal woodwork reinforced.

Tesco Direct are being less than helpful. They're sending me a form to fill in, but in the meantime we've got nothing to sit on.

Can anyone recommend a good local repairer urgently.

    Thank you

    Try MK Upholstery www.mkups.co.uk

I used them when my dog decided to use a leather sofa as a nest - phantom pregnancy. It was a mess.

The cost was reasonable, the repair time was as quoted and the dog was speyed soon after

Anyone know where there is good sized car boot without too many traders?

Have loads of [STRIKE]carp[/STRIKE] , oops typo, much valued possessions to declutter.

Might need to go alone, is this do-able?

    TIA

Does anyone know of a reliable cheapish gardener for around £10ph, i really need someone to keep my garden tamed for around 2 hours a week. All I can seem to find are landscape gardeners who charge the earth.

  • We're being given a motorized dinghy by a relative and I'd like to find out how I get permission to use it on the lakes in MK. I'm not really sure of the rules and regulations about using one, but I'm assuming I can't just go down to Caldecotte Lake and sail around the lake. Any advice?
:j Go on, shake your money maker! :j
  • Hi all,

I completed yesterday on my first ever house and have now realised how much I have to do!

Can anyone recommend a good handyman in the area? I am looking for someone to do odd jobs around the house, such as put up blinds/ curtains/ mirrors/ shelves/ picture hocks etc, I ‘m sure the list will grow longer as soon as I move in.

Fairly basic jobs I know, however I am hopeless at DIY. If anyone has a personal recommendation that would be much appreciated.

I am also on the look out for a good cleaner if anyone can recommend one.

    Thanks
